  1. I have done both... With and without... WITH was a much more enjoyable season..
  2. Any drum corps or marching bands in southern new england need a visual or brass tech this summer? Was planning on working with Northern Light Drum Corps, but they recently folded for the year and am looking to use my skills else where. I just recently graduated with a Tuba Performance Degree from BYU-Idaho... My drum corps experience includes the 2002 Boston Crusaders and 2005 Crossmen, and have been working with Portsmouth High School marching band for the past 4 years and my college marching band for the past 2... I have a resume I can send if needed. Thank you very much
  3. People were said to get very sentimental for the 2002 Boston Crusaders show...
  4. I am GUESSING that the Chrome horns were less expensive than the silver horns... and it was for a different look... silver horns weren't too big back then.. TOO expensive...
  5. DCI only stands for Drum Corps International... there is NO bugle in the name... i think it is safe to assume, that there will always be drums in drum corps...
  6. We just played it in my Wind Ensemble... i think it might have been arranged by Keith Bryon... contact my director... soelbergd@byui.edu
  7. I personaly like BDs style... i tried to model my college marching band after them... It is just hard to explain... And they can't figure out by looking... someone needs to come out and produce a marching techniques video, so that bands can model after good drum corps and actually get it right... By the way, on the upper cam, the Cavies look the best... Looks like they are just floating across the field... the lower cams, they don't look as good...
  8. As a tuba player, I would NEVER support sousaphones... #### sousaphones... worst instruments EVER!!!!!!!!!!
  9. they do have 2 different circuits... its called DCI and DCA :-p... get over it
  10. Good program... I performed that work in orchestra last fall... Would sound great on the field...
  11. One is div 2 and the other is Div 1.... There wont be a HUGE problem... I can imagine a few people switching sides...
