  1. To be honest, 2007 Cadets will never show up on my iPod simply because of the talking. Their music and visual were both great and so I cant wait for the DVD to come out! BTW does anyone know what happens when you buy the bundle with the DVD and CD in it? Do they send them both at the same time or do they send them when they have them?
  2. ROFL, Cadets20012001 is more bitter than anything I have ever seen in my life. The funny thing is nothing he says is true.
  3. I agree. Straight line drill is way easier than curved. Its easier to dress while on the move because all you have to do is be right behind and in front of someone else. In a curve you could be one step in the wrong direction and the whole thing would look like garbage and curves are not as easily dressed as straight lines because you have to look for harder to see things. Flashy does not always = hard.
  4. It costs $19.95 to get the semifinals webcast... will this option be available for finals tomorrow?
  5. I havent been here in a while but after reading all kinds of posts I see nothing about BD. Does anyone know what their show is going to be this year? It seems like we at least have an idea about what everyone else's show is.
  6. No offense to the people that posted their predicted top 12 for next year but the only time the Blue Devils weren't in the top 5 was their first year, so don't get your hopes up when you're trying to slot them as 7 and 8. Not to mention their show this year could have easily won first place, so they're certainly not on the way down.
  7. I really enjoyed Phantom's music but what I've seen is that the Blue Devil's music is really underrated. The Blue Devil's music is loud and exciting and you can't go wrong with that.
  8. From what I can make from this whole situation is these are two different corps with two different styles, one is not necessarily better than the other. The Cavaliers are entertaining with their GE and crowd pleasing tendencies while the PR does other things that make people happy. Different things are done for different people, maybe you didn't like their show but that doesn't mean you should make such a huge deal about it.
  9. It is impossible to acurrately predict the weather this far in advance, so don't worry.
  10. Where can I get 1280 x 800 pictures of some of the top corps today? Thanks for future help...
  11. I'm a first timer when it comes to going to the DCI Finals and I was wondering what there is to do the day of Finals in the Madison area. Can you watch people practice, or what can you do?
  12. Have they announced the theaters that are going to show the quarterfinals yet or is it going to be the same ones that showed the classic countdown?
  13. Bluefan, you are a stats master! Too bad you'll have to do it again tomorrow after the Cadets and Crown have their first scores. :P
  14. So, is there any way for a person who doesn't live on the west coast to see their show? I would try to agree or disagree with the opinion but I have no means of information to do that.
  15. I completely agree with Bluefan about the scores. After seeing Madison's show I think it will probably take a while to clean up because of its difficulty, it will happen eventually though. The Bluecoats are quite good right now by the sounds of it and a 74.05 seems to be in their range. I really appreciated the Colts show and I would enjoy a good increase in points.
