  2. So is this your "absolutely my last, never to be seen again, so long, wish I could return but I can't, farewell all, I really mean it this time," last year....or have you decided to just give up and realize you will never escape drum corps, so you may as well stop trying? 8. As the season approaches we find ourselves in need of one soprano, one mellophone and one contra player as well as a tenor player. It's not too late, with our talented team of visual people; they can catch you up with drill quickly. Many members of the musical staff as well as fellow members are always willing to help musically too. Its just a part of being family. Come on down to Hawthorne, you know you want to! It's going to be great fun. For directions, follow the link www.cabs.org, of feel free to contact any of our caption heads with questions. Kay Eltman Hawthorne Caballeros Corps Secretary

  15. I have quite a few, but I'll start the thread off with my first finals performance with the Caballeros in 1995. It was 3/4 through the opener and a drum judge found himself in an awkward position not knowing where to go he attempted to move behind the guard, well as he passed through me I clocked in on the head so hard he yelled "HOLY SH**." My first reaction was, OMG I just lost the show for us.........can you imagine? Its on the video too, I was backfield right on the 50 yard line. BOOM! Lets hear more stories
