  1. I was just curious if the old courtesy was still around where anyone who marched is able to ride on the bus of another corps to get home. I remember when I marched, we had members from what seemed like every corps in DCI on our buses for the drive back.
  2. Bluecoats hold onto 2nd while BAC falls to 3rd. I hope that I'm wrong but I see it happening.
  3. Agree with this almost 100%........judges DEFINITELY do play favorites 😂 Unfortunately, DCI politics have been alive for a long time now.
  4. It could've been the pit having an abnormal run as they're included in the percussion score too 🤔
  5. This is beyond embarrassing to admit as a music major 😂 but what layering have they done to the show. I've watched their opening show up to San Antonio and can't really find too many changes besides them being a ton cleaner and more dynamic contrast.
  6. That's fair, can't fault them for wanting to me cautious. Thanks for not attacking me 😆
  7. I hope that everything is well with BAC. Not trying to be funny or anything but is this semi code for "We're adding changes and don't want them to leak out before it's judged on the field"?
  8. I'm not a fan of BD in the least but I give credit where credit is due and your post is spot on. Darn it, you're right. Like BD or not, their designers, staff and members understand the system and play into it......and very well may I add. Therefore they haven't placed less than 4th and medal every year since God knows how long. The way that I look at it, as long as they keep winning....the more that every other corps will get stronger in efforts to dethrone them and that's exciting. With that being said, congrats to the guys/gals of Concord.
  9. Somehow, this is spot on to a tee what I've been thinking but wasn't unable to put into words.
  10. Please pardon me if this topic has been asked about and/or posted already. I was simply wondering if this year will be judged and if so, will judges be back on the field or will they be on the sideline like in 2019? If this has been answered already, please direct me to the thread. Thanks fellow DCI family!
  11. Is there any way to see this if one doesn't have a Facebook account?
  12. By chance, does anyone out there (former staff, alumni or general knowledge) know who was on staff for the Boston Crusaders 2014 "Animal Farm" show? Specifically the drill designer and battery arranger. Thanks!
  13. Can't wait for the room to get cold huh? Lol
  14. I think that it's his call. SCV has used euphs for a while but which year did they not use them......2004 when he was Caption Head. I'm not bashing the guy or anything. He was my caption head for a couple of years and I worship the guy but it's something that I have always scratched my head at.
  15. So does anyone think that there will be a surprise change for tonight to boost the score? Like BD's surprise thing in 2000. Also, very random and off topic question, does anyone know why Gino never marches euphoniums? At Cadets (Although I think that there were a few euphs in the 2005 line), Magic of Orlando, SCV and BAC.......only baritones. While I love the sound of a good bari line and the color that is brings to a hornline, euphs and baris together are a whole other sound to be reckoned with. Ask Crown, BD, SCV and Phantom lol
  16. THANK YOU! They don't move at all compared to the old BD. There's too much park and blow these days but I guess that's acceptable to the judges of today.
  17. Terrible news to wake up to. She was a tech when I marched at Magic in 2002. I'll never forget her positivity and those roller blades that she would be riding around in during every breakfast/lunch/dinner break. Rest in power Kelly 🙏🏾
