Exactly by me sitting here and calling for Fred's head so I can add it to my drum corps memorabilia is selfish. How do I know what it would take for the Crossmen to make that happen? By now with all the focus that was placed on Fred, I am sure he has done a lot of soul searching and does not pose any kind of real threat to the MM's. The MM's that are there now don't seem threatened and post in his favor. So for me to feel better The Crossmen needs to go inactive for 2019, that is not what I wanted. It has been mentioned that the young director had his personal money invested or other legal holdings that would slow down the application way beyond the 2019 tour to work through. There is also a post in the Crossmen thread where a poster mentions that Fred owns the Crossmen in some similar manner to RB. The post is sitting there but did not generate much attention. We react to info we get and make assumptions but it's just a discussion, nothing more.

Defending Dan does not help to fix the issue? What's the point in that, Dan does not need cheerleaders or excuse makers, he needs an action plan to overcome the obstacles.

Dci has been called out for acting fraudulently and it's in the public eye being placed on the national news wire. It places the issue way over DCPs head, were the good guys that are just trying to put the pieces together. However, as far as the public perception of dci is concerned, these issues are being played out on a national level and dci has been called fraudulent. Now it is prudent for dci to initiate damage control over that statement because it is hurting them way more than the Reddit post that started this whole mess ever did or would. How come Tricia L. Nadolny has quick access to this young man and needs to jump through hoops to get a response from dci? Why isn't Dan's picture in the article explaining dci's side of the story? It places DCP s problem of not knowing the full picture of this on the back burner, the school administrators and other outside decision makers that decide dci's fate year in and year out don't make their decisions by the accuracy of DCP's posts,lets not get a big head and get back to the issues.

Yep, they are going to appreciate bad news about Drum Corps in the morning paper. Then the upcoming GH perp walks on TV morning in night who needs social media dci found a way around all that. They are now in the newsprint and on TV. When was the last time they polished their image in the Press, on TV? Was the housing issue even addressed at the meeting? dci is shooting themselves in the foot more often than not. Why don't I see the bright side what exactly are the school administrators so excited about?

Weighing out the possible internal and external collateral damage. It's called damage control of a Reddit post. Option 1 reprimand the young Sound Sport director. Let the reddit post sink down the reddit rabbit hole and be gone. This thread would be a happy thread and I can drink my Blue Moons w/o question. Option 2 risk everything run a sequel called dcihead- revisited in the national press. Put it out there for the school administers to see. Knowing that the GH trial will be all over the news soon. Cause monetary damage to folks they don't know and knock some kids out of dci. Lose a OC corps and ruin a young man that's only trying to help. Option 2 becomes the preferred method to handle this situation because a vague rule that has not been used in a while takes precedent and dci's moral compass does not allow anything else. How could it be so clear since all of dci's most dedicated fans thought this was a good thing until the dci borg took them over. It was a knee jerk reaction that abused the rule and their power. They reacted out of emotion and shot themselves in the foot. Perception is Reality. This young man stood up to the bullies and set his moral compass way higher than any of the dimbulbs that executed this plan did. They made the wrong decision. DCi reacted out of spite and lost. What rules exactly because the rules contradict each other. If you don't speak up you are accused of neglecting the status as a mandated reporter. Protected if you do with all kinds of fancy words associated with being a good person. Then if you do speak up under the old social media rules you get fired. This is the abuse of power neglecting any type of manageable damage control to occur out of spite. This thread goes away and the reddit post gets buried and forgotten. There was no plan to control any of this plain & simple. What I see in the ex-directors post is the word fraudulent associated with dci's response (dci should take note of that comment) This young nam is on the ball stood up to dci and won. dci received the bigger black eye he has a bright future. Perception Is Reality dci will be chasing their tails on this for a long time.

I have contacted Varsity Sports and let know what they are getting into. Lots of detail and they know to watch their backs around these individuals especially Fred. I worry about them like they are MM its everyone for yourself in the friendly skies of DCI. How many DCP points do I get for that since your keeping tract? Additionally, I am putting my thoughts together on a voided check so I can send them my donation. Looking to donate my tickets and cancel my FLO subscription. So no we just don't sit on DCP and complain, dci's issues are way beyond anything DCP can address.
