Another great play time in our hometown, Dubuque! A very special event was one of our very own, Gene Steichen getting into the Hall of Fame! We are all so proud of our corps! Onward now...to Nationals!!! For Old Man River! Hold On To Morning!

Not sure what all the hub bub is about the boxes, but I think they really add to the show. Colts are brilliant and going back to a tradition of great horn lines and awesome drill and choreography. On the Road to Nationals! GO GETT'EM KIDS!!!

Just in: from our executive director, Greg Blum We will wear the grey alumni shirts as in recent years, with pants (no kilts, not sure why he always says that to ME, lol). There will be rehearsal for the SSB before the show on Thursday, with a possible extra rehearsal Wednesday night. With our annual Animal Bar post get together! Music is available from either Greg or myself, same arrangement as in recent years. I have also been told that our goal is 40 and includes guard and percussion. Out of towners, be sure to book your rooms well in advance, as the show is a Thursday this year and there are other things besides our show going on that weekend. See you all in a few weeks! Had two offers, still looking for the DEG 2V. I really do need the working slide, as that opens up the playable range of the horn.

Yes, this is my buddy Carl. We were in '83 Colts together and he already has a corps, just like he always did...The Colts.

I am seeking either a 2 piston DEG contrabass or an Olds P/R, with a working slide. I know that there are some horns lying around in storage and even many of the alumni corps are upgrading to 3V and BBb versions. Please PM or email with price and location.

Uniform: Shirts: Gray Colts Alumni T-shirt. (Provided. If you need one, tell me the size and I will have it for you @ rehearsal.) Pants: You have to wear pants. (a direct joke on one of our tuba players who was a Kiltie) If you need an instrument, let me know, and I will arrange it. Rehearsal 6:00 PM Tuesday @ steps of Nora Gymnasium @ Dubuque Senior High School. Performance begins: 7:00 PM. Performance ends: 7:01 PM. Your pay for this gig will be a ticket to the show. It will get you to the alumni deck, which is at the top of the stands. GO RED TEAM!
