    I have my aussie, with my green ageout feather, from 86. I also have a star that beat every corps in the country and another star that only lost one show. I indeed have a Colt triangle, given to me at the reunion last year.

    Mine started freezing when Cadets stepped off...just did a little rewind and got it working again. Missed a little bit of the show, but that is OK as I have seen them live several times already.

    I liked it, but then again, I played it with an Ohio State band, so maybe my experience was a bit different than yours.

    They are finally edging their way up....we shall see, we shall see.....I watched them intently at practice and they are really improving and grasping the little things that make the big difference. Time will tell....

    which made me go and check, and indeed it is! Oh, and Santa Clara....LOVE THE TROMBONES IN THE OPENING STATEMENT! I was so neggie, until I got a taste of it on the Fan Network....lol

    I chatted with one of the members last night and she said it just wasn't happening on the field, yet. Too many little problems, which I did not see as a spectator. They will pull it together and timing is everything. I love the little guard girl who seems to be an admin. asst. to the scarecrow, and constantly makes fun of him behind his back. Priceless!

    Ah....some of the alumni of Colts were trying to figure out what the guard was wearing...we knew they were not munchkins, thought maybe the flying evil monkeys, but this clears it up. I have watched the show many, many times on the Fan Network, but once seeing it live, it really is not as dark as the other midwest corps and Boston...Blue Stars and Pioneer exempt of course. Cadets have an entirely narrated show and it is getting lots of credit. I hope the judges turn the scores around and start giving credit to Colts too! See you all in Dubuque for our show!
