The problem is that when all the DCA shows come off the drawing board, they are ALREADY behind the Bucs.

I thought that CV (and Fusion before them) were absolutely on fire at finals. Great job!

I had to chuckle last night at some of the comments from DCP Forum members and the moderator. The tenth through second place corps received nothing but praise and positive comments. Reading however had dirt in the percussion, guard issues and some phasing and alignment problems, while everyone is watching them live and at home simply decimating the field within the first 2 minutes of their program!

Cadets could have worn anything, short of burlap sacks, and still beat the Cabs, whose show design simply cost them at the end of the season.

BTW, Fusion and CV were ON FIRE! I thought that both of them would overtake Kidsgrove. Ended up being half right.

Man, I swear some folks must have been looking at a different show. I thought Minnesota might have taken the brass trophy right after their performance and said so on this thread. But the main reason their brass sounded so good is that their drill simply DOES NOT MOVE! They literally stand motionless for almost half of their program. Running some steamers from a pole and having folks run around in clown costumes does not equate to dynamic visual design.

I NEVER thought I would say this but Cabs got jobbed!

So are they tearing down the stadium yet?

It would absolutely shock the hell out of me and ANYONE who follows modern drum corps. This show was a wrap after the first 1:30.

Here at home, we have some movement in the middle of the pack. Had both Fusion and CV over Kidsgrove. Other than that, things should pretty much follow the prelims. Only moment of suspense should be when they announce third place.

The only reason Cabs have the visual program over MBI is because MBI has NO visual program.

Gee. I sure do hope they survive those guard issues...LOL!
