  2. From 6th to 39th in one competition for Brilliante... Ah well. Hopefully the adjustments we just made will help, haha.
  3. Directors Leave Until Monday June 30th Unfortunately Brilliante has hit a time in our season where all of the directors and all of the staff will be leaving the drum corps until Monday. We all hate to leave, especially now with our scores so high, but it has to be done. We are hoping all the best for the drum corps as the drum major will be the only instructional staff on the field for 3 full days. As much as the scores may suffer in the next few days the corps is expecting to make a full recovery and push on with the season by Monday. Brilliante's "Drum Major Days" There will be more weekends like this where the staff will have to leave the corps and the drum major is the only one with them. So we are calling them the "drum major days". The following dates are when staff has to leave again. July 3 - July 6 July 11 - July 13 July 18 - July 20 July 29 - August 12 We do realize that the last period of time is through championships, but the staff's hands are tied. Hopefully the corps will figure out what to work on before the 29th so that Brilliante can end the season successfully.

  6. Brilliante will be unable to check the scores from tonight until Monday morning. Hope fully the corps will be alright, but I won't be surprised if the score goes down a-ways. Ah well, **** happens hehe.
  7. Hello DCP-I. The 2008 season will be the first time that the Brilliante Drum and Bugle Corps will be performing competitively. 10. I had really dark glove tan/burn this past year because I never put sunscreen on my arms. A few days after I got back I had a marhcihng band meeting (for high school) and everyone felt so bad for me. But I felt bad for them. Because they didn't have one.
  11. Congrats to every corps. Like many have already said, this was an amazing year. No one disappointed with a crappy show this year. Now it's off-season, and we can prepare for next year's festivities. But for now.... let's party.
  12. From where I was sitting in the CT showing, Madison Scouts and Crown had the most applause.
  13. Yes, the penalty was accounted for the final scores. The Cadets ended up one tenth behind Phantom Regiment (94.5)
  14. Hey kids. So... I would like to personally thank the members of my corps for pushing so hard this season. We (Norwich Lancers) are on our founding year, and the staff, including myself (director), are extremely pleased with this year thus far. So I am sending a public gratitude letter to the members, for their steadfast dedication. Keep pushing; there's only 47 days until finals =). And... good luck to every corps enrolled this year. This is looking to be a promising year for everyone =). Until next time, keep it real.
