  1. The Richards tape is on YouTube. Maybe someone who knows how to post the link to this thread can do that, search Hell Bent for Victory deleted Scene #2.
  2. I like the road a lot, but I do agree the first half of the show needs a little more meat.
  3. Troop got hammered in the visual captions tonight, but still have real nice GE scores. At this point in the season I would prefer good GE scores over visual. I really like this show, it has a lot of room to grow.
  4. Looks like last time Troopers beat Glassmen was 1990.
  5. This will give you a little history of the 79 performance. http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F...ygI&h=20e2b
  6. I was at the show and I don't think Glassmen were hurt by going on early, in fact I thought Colts and Troopers might have topped Glassmen. All 3 corps were very close. The fight for the last spot in finals is still very much in the air. Each corps has weaknesses in different areas, it will be interesting to watch the battle for finals.
  7. I agree, I love the new Trooper uni. To be honest all the photos of the troopers are not all that flattering. They look far better on the field than last years. When the corps turns back field it is really striking visualy. In the past when the corps turned back field every scarf was different and just looked sloppy. There is a uniformity issue with the baldric but I'm sure they well address that problem as the season moves on.
  8. Thanks Scott, that is a good suggestion. We can make it easier to find out what this film is about. So I will give you a quick overview so the folks on DCP don't have to hunt around for it. In the spring of 2009 the Troopers were were having an amazing off season, and the feeling around the corps was they a chance to returned to the Top 12. Only 2 short years earlier the Troopers were inactive and if they could pull this off it was a comeback story that had to be documented. So we sent a film crew to capture history 23 years in the making. What we came away with was not just a film about the Troopers making the Top 12, but a film about the relationships built with in the marching arts. A film that not only the drum corps junkie will enjoy, but something that the marching band community and the non-drum corps fan could grasp onto. It is not an introduction to drum corps, or a movie about the Troopers. It's aobut the marching arts at it's best. If you want more info you can check out our facebook page where we have a bunch of raw footage videos and drumline and hornline lot videos. Marcus Gallizzi Executive Producer Hell Bent for Victory
