  1. Survey answers from the top twelve members in 2013. Not looking for opinions or arguments. I just want to know who used what in 2013? Please give corps name and halt style.
  2. Harlem Nocturne by Earle Hagen. Guess what else Hagen wrote....yes, the theme to the Andy Griffith Show..Let's whistle together..
  3. Anyone that follows Rennick is going to be the sacrificial lamb.....sorry, it just happens that way.
  4. Vocabulary - what they are doing (this has more to do with the design) Excellence - how they are doing it (this has more to do with the performance)
  5. Spirit's uni looks like a Butt Ugly Quilt by my grandmother....
  6. A wise man once told me,"LEARN BY THE DOT, PERFORM TO THE FORM!"
  7. All top three corps were fantastic. But fair is fair and its about time! This makes me very happy! My fiath is finally restored in the system and its about time for that too!
  8. Bring it in! Tenors North Tenors Quints Quads Timp Toms Match Grip Traditional Grip Kock Block White Noise DCT Bones Free Day Food Truck All Right Mighty Fine!
  9. The primary function of the drum major during rehearsals and performances is to set the initial tempo. Then the drum major and usually the center snare drummer keep constant eye contact. The drum major follows the feet of the center snare - the center snare follows the drum major. The rest of the performing ensemble listens to the inside of the field and/or watches the drum major (except the pit). Adjustments must be made for changes of the tempo center and the distance (field placement) of the performers. Such things as cues and dynamics are for "show" only as these qualities are the result of many hours of preparation. This is a very brief and basic answer to a very complex question that is the basis for field performance and the resulting adjudicated aspects.
