I was also there at the show tonight. Phantom was great! They still have not put in the new ending. This was my 2nd time viewing their show and the 1st time in person. It is a much better show live and in person! There is so much to look at that is going on prior to the start. I agree that the current ending makes the end of the show feel weird. I can't wait to see what they do! Someone mentioned to me that they would like to see the conductor come off the field much like he comes on the field. P.S. WAR EAGLE!

My story is the same except it started watching finals 1991. Years later I found out that I was good enough to make it and that my parents would of paid for me to march had they known.

I know of at least one other corps besides CC that has at least 3 alternate horn players on the road. ...and all 3 march some of the shows since they rotate them in and out during rehearsals and such.

Naw, she was in the guard uniform all season until this week.

Thankfully, they changed her out of the color guard uniform and into a regular crossmen uniform.

Teal (I know, open class) has 3 female contra players out of their 12.

Yes, there are corps that are limiting members to one duffle bag (no hard sides).

I don't know but please don't get married on the football field during a corps camp.

Thank you Peel Paint! That was just what I was looking for. I recently bought a new digital SLR camera and zoom lens. It just barely slides under that 6 in. rule if extended out and definitely under it when at its shortest length.

Does anybody know if there is a camera policy for DCI shows? Are staff that have field passes allowed to bring digital SLR cameras with them?

There is no multiple commutes involved. Open Class Semifinals and Open Class Finals are in Bloomington. You would start on Tues north in Michigan City and drive south to Indy for I/E then further south to Bloomington for World Class Quarters, and Semis and Finals of both divisions.

I love the idea! Suncoast 85 and Star 91 would be at the top of my list for sure. Too bad we couldn't come up witha reason to give the open class corps some love on the countdown as well.

...now if I could just get more of the intro to field pass tune....or even get it as a ring tone.....

I am considering making a purchase of a laptop/tablet or blackberry device. I would be purchasing it for drum corps administrative purposes to have on tour.
