Word from the Jannuals was that they had liquidated assets, sent no representation to the annual meetings, and it was voted to suspend their membership. If that is so, it will be difficult to be sure.

I read that as DCI's decision regarding their competitive status only for 2024. I can't find anywhere that the other corps voted on the membership issue. I thought it was two separate issues/processes. IDK

Wasn't the meeting recently? They announced the new replacement. No news about the vote on their status? If I missed it, I apologize.

Genesis went "propless" last summer, I believe. Most likely a cost saving look into the matter for them? Maybe someone in the know could share, if that was the case?

My guess is that DCI saw enough to say ok. But, in a couple of weeks, the voting membership of the corps will decide under what circumstances and potential restrictions this return takes; after SVC pleads their case (to the voting membership).

They should at least try to be historically correct. The picture is I saw had a Confederate yellow sash on the Union "uniform ". The 11th Ohio cavalry was Union. Yes? Anyways, I guess it's just a little thing, but they tout the ties to Fort Caspar, just pay historical accuracy. I guess. Or not.... I dunno.
