  3. All of these were pretty good (with the serious exception of Mr. "duh" Appice --- he was totally out of his league or his mind). I think the current team is great --- even Jessica is good. Cesario adds a certain "something" that is needed tho.....
  4. Normally on these things I say "Go Thunder", but today I"m making a change (for today only) GO OC!!!!
  5. Chris--- thanks so much for your outstanding photographs. You not only have technical skill, but a good eye for what to shoot. I put a link to your Spokane Thunder photos on our website.... www.spokanethunder.org. Thanks again!
  6. MARK74 --- You have eloquently stated exactly what needs to be said. You are absolutely right on. I can only hope that your sentiments are read by DCI --- I don't expect DCI to do anything different, but you have hit the nail squarely on the head. Thanks for your thoughts.
  7. I too have spent a fortune on drum corps and DCI things (much to the #$#%$#!! of my wife). I'm not convinced the answer is totally money. Granted it does require money to pull these things off, but there is simply no excuse to be so far behind in the planning of logistics --- the housing mess is a prime example. I think the "shortage of bandwidth" may be at DCI HQ!!! AND, I hate to bring this up, but I don't believe Div II/III get the attention and respect they deserve by far too many at that same HQ...... :(
  8. ---------------- DCI says the Div II/III webcast could not happen "due to an unforeseen bandwidth problem at Pasadena City College" How typical of DCI --- those folks couldn't organize themselves out of a wet paper bag --- just like with the housing situation for corps in the LA area: DCI has only had 2 years to get all this organized, arranged, tested, and working, but they don't have the brains or staff (or both) to make it happen. For such a big organization (which takes so much of our money) it is really unfortunate and disheartening that they are so dysfunctional. Something needs to be done.
  9. GO THUNDER!!!!!!!!! GO THUNDER!!!!!!! GO THUNDER!!!!! GO THUNDER!!! GO THUNDER!
  10. Great review... thanks very much. Heading for the theatre in a couple of days. It is sad but true that we probably won't have these good solid shows on the west coast often anymore....
  11. Guizeppe: On behalf of Spokane Thunder I say "THANK YOU" and we appreciate your kind comments.... The show is well designed and we need some more cleaning. Comments like yours give the corps members added confidence and incentive to keep working their *^&&*()% off!! Mike Jessup -- Greater Spokane Drum Corps Association.
