After a three year hiatus, the Knights of... organization is back with a new hometown of Charlotte, NC. We have missed the spirit of friendly competition, and look forward to being back on the road with everyone.

Great night for the Knights of... org!! All 3 groups score in sweepstakes contest in heavy competitions, including a 1st place win for the Knights of Note and the Knights of Power recaptured the Knight Sword! The Corps are celebrating tonight - with the Knights of Power riding the Rockin roller coster in Disney World, and the other groups going to "Cheers" in Boston!

Sorry about the absence in the offseason. Mrs. Knights of... org decided to take part of the kingdom away. At least there is peace in the kingdom now

Wow - talk about close margins. What makes having the Knight Sword so special is the history involved with it. Even though it was only two of us this year, to both place in the top 5 shows how prestigious it is to be a Knight. Great run at the end, Sir Gary!

Wow, quite a night for the DCPI finals! Congrats to all of the competing corps on a great season. The Knights of... Organization is quite proud of the Knights of Sound for climbing from 5th and .75 down to end up winning Open class with the highest score in history (at least according to the History page). With all of the great corps this year and in the past, we are humbled to be able to say this. It means even more after receiving the silver in seasons 14 & 18, and - I guess you could say we are like Carolina Crown in that "other" Drum Corps activity. Congrats to the other winners - Star of Jupiter and Hoosier Regiment as well - interested in an exhibition performance to raise funds for next year? A special congrats to the Buckeye Brass for receiving medals in all three classes - you have hit rare company with that accomplishment.

Had to endure a 2nd night without the sword - really don't want it gone for the whole off-season. We want The Knights to finish 2nd, so we can sweep up 1st!

Agree wholeheartedly. Good luck to all - but especially my corps with all three in the top 7 in their classes.

The Knights of... organization had a wonderful time at it's home show last night, receiving 1st place with 2 groups and 2nd in with the other. Their individual scores actually went down a little bit as all of their parents came and brought them homemade Lexington style barbecue, and the actual good food shocked their system and felt a little sick on the field. Fortunately, a good night's sleep in their own beds last night left everyone ready to keep on going with the tour. Getting ready for regionals!

Well, after having the Knights sword taken from us during an idle off season, the Knights of Power took back the coveted Knight Sword in our nations capital on the second attempt this season. We thank the Knights for the kind handing of the sword ceremony during a moving rendition of "God Bless America" It was a classy gesture by a classy corp. That being said, we want to hold onto this for a long time again. Next defense is tomorrow night!

Congrats to all the champions! The Knights of... org is very proud of it's corps members. Silver medalists for 2 of the 3 corps is quite humbling. When you throw in a sweepstakes championship for the Knights of Sound, and having the Knights Sword for all but one competition this was a very special season. Thanks to Galen for the wonderful job in organizing everything!

After a one day hiatus, the Knight's sword came back to the Power. Thanks to the California Knights for making my boys appreciate what they have had the whole season!

I think you left out my results from 7-7. By my calculations, I should have... Knights of Power - 12 Knights of Sound - 36 Knights of Note - 30

I'm not so sure about that! However, as we really should have been in Bowling Green, I'd be willing to say the sword is in play with the CLASS Championships.

As the Knights of... Organization heads for a Northern tour, and the Knights head south, there was one joint meeting scheduled last "knight". With major rewrites being debuted by both orgs, the Knight's Sword was defended by the slimmest of margins. A valiant effort by the Knights, but there was just a little too much Power.

The Knights of... organization had a huge "Knight" at Boone, NC last night. As their corps director was playing with the Western Piedmont Symphony in nearby Lenoir, NC the organization swept all 3 classes at the only big stadium in the Southern tour this year. (per the executive director of DCPI) This was even more special as the "Cannon Music Camp" started up at Appalachian State University the day before, and over 200 high school musicians from the Southeast saw the victory. After the sweep, the corps members rode "down the mountain" to our corps headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC where they were able to sleep in their own cots rather than the usual gym floor. Rehearsal day today rather than driving 3 hours to Rocky Mount and than back again to Mooresville on 7/5.

If my understanding is correct from the season discussion thread, The Knights had the Knights Sword at the end of Season 17. As the "Knights of.." organization needed to spend the season in financial restructuring, we are very pleased to claim the Knights Sword in the opening competition of season 18. The Low Brass held on to the sword all night, saying "NE' to each other, and a good time was had by all. Now to see how long we can hold it!

Same problem here. I re-registered on Thursday, and was told to wait 24 hours. That was 4 days ago.

So since Caprice was "disqualified" and Knights of Power finished 13th in Semis, can they be put into finalist status?
