They do play quite a few high school games in there including the state finals for all 6 classes. I believe they are part of the turf and not actually painted on.

Avon is only about a 15 minute drive southwest from Ben Davis.

Pretty sure the RCA dome will be rubble or close to it by the time finals come around. They have a very tight schedule to adhere to in order to get the new convention center expansion done by 2010. To stay on that schedule, they need to have the dome razed in early 2008. Indy CC/RCA dome schedule The last event listed is a very large (for Indy) firefighters show that consumes the entire convention center as well as the dome floor. Powersports expo in February is the same way. I can almost 100% guarantee that the firefighters show in April is that last event in the dome. The Oil Can will be ready for DCI in August. :)

Hello to everyone! What a fabulous season! Is it too early to say that I can't wait until next season? :) I am new to this forum but a long time (mid 80's) fan of drum corps in general. My first introduction to DCI was during summer rehersals at my high school. We hosted The Cavaliers stay for a few days prior to a Bloomington show. Needless to say I was hooked. While I never had the time to tryout, I have enjoyed watching and listening from afar ever since. As a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, I am really excited that finals will be coming here.
