  1. Yep, we have had some awful moments, but I'd say we have come a long way since '07. We do the best we can, we accept everyone, regardless of their skill level, no one gets cut, and we have a GREAT TIME!!
  2. Really??? Considering how "knowledgeable" you are, I would think that you would realize the timing of the Plymouth show is detrimental to the numbers any corps brings to the stage. Alumni Corps, for the most part, finish their season in September, and don't start a new one until November or later. So, we have a changing of the "guard" so to speak. I don't think this will be an indication of what we present in a field show, but if it is, we will do our best to make it entertaining! Lucky for us, we are an Alumni Corps and we are NOT being judged... Yes, the Cab's Alumni guard has shown improvement over the last several years, as have almost ALL alumni corps guards. While the music may be from "back in the day" the level of difficulty and style of work being done is more in tune with what guards are doing today -- only scaled down -- so us old folks don't hurt ourselves too much trying to do it!!!
  3. I have never seen such disrespect from a drum corps as I did when I did not see the Caballeros take the field for Taps! I am sure that all of the drum corps were practicing all day in the rain. It is a shame that the Cabs would disrespect the Bridgemen like they did. It was a thoughtless, selfish decision that the Cabs made by not performing Taps with the other drum corps! Just a thought made by many people in the stands while we were watching the show!!!! P.S. It was, otherwise, a GREAT night in Bayonne - rain and all!!!
