Lot of pharmacies are having staffing problems. One I use (different chain) has cut back hours and started closing for a lunch period. Have heard same story for other places

There have been massive problems with staffing and closings in all the major pharmacies.  I have been to CVS multiple times to find they just shut the pharmacy down for the day (and sometimes longer) with no apology, no explanation and no information on when they would be open again.

yes, we have to be picky about who, what, where, and when. An activity devoted to musical and marching activities for youth has to pay attention to ethics and standards.

I’m not critiquing corporate sponsorships or partnerships, I am questioning this particular business. Walmart is not known as being a good employer nor is it known for retaining employees. That’s not as  important a factor if the busses stop at Walmart so marching members can stock up on food, health and beauty items, socks, etc. but is it optimal for medical care? Perhaps it’s anecdotal but a Walmart near me had to close its pharmacy for a week because they could not find a pharmacist and pharmacists were stretched so thin, a substitute from another store could not fill the position. People had to travel to the neighboring store for refills and no new prescriptions were accepted at that store. Maybe in the South, Midwest, West Coast Walmart Health is the urgent care equivalent of the Mayo Clinic, but I’d be cautious.

Thanks for telling us what "we" have to do, but I can make up my own mind about who has ethics and standards.

What kind of other things does Box 5 offer for their price?

It can't be as good and riveting as the National Jr High School Mixed Doubles Thumb Wrestling Championships they offer on Flo.

I can tell you have never suffered the agony of defeat from losing a thumb war.

Too soon.  That poor kid may never hitchhike again.

Is there or is there not a loud vocal minority who hates modern drum corps? And is it or is it not true that that parts of modern drum corps they hate become the focal point of the discussion any time a corps folds?

I'm just calling that correlation out. That's all.

Saying something once is calling it out.

Saying it 50 times renders the phrase “loud vocal minority” astoundingly hypocritical.

Drum corps lost its connection to the community because communities got more diverse with many more things to do. Trying to turn back the clock now isn’t the miracle solution many think. The world has changed

Ticket sales remain strong AFAIK, plus movies and Flo watchers now would add something even beyond what we had 20 years ago.

So if financial support from the community is down, maybe it is because today’s fan base is more transitory, disappearing long before they accumulate the kind of wealth needed to become big donors.

    If that is true:

    - Maybe it is time to stop using strong attendance numbers to mock others for being concerned drum corps is dying.

    - Maybe it’s time to stop bashing “dinos”.

    - Maybe more things others can add.

What should we be more surprised about?

    - Cadets calling off 2024

    - press release saying "its not a spending problem, its a revenue problem"

    - only two hours into this thread, people are defending/deflecting about non-essential expenses such as props and electronics

So what is the revenue problem?

AI would (ideally) be impartial.  It would only perceive what it sees and experiences.  I think just having AI as an experiment would be interesting.  Also justifying why it scored what it did.

    That’s not how it works.

That’s not how any of it works.

Was going to watch on Roku - Rewind only for on laptop/desktop? Thanks!

All I seem to be able to do is pause and unpause, and as it is I’m afraid they will cut it off at 9 pm here because that is midnight EDT.

Maybe hitting LIVE would take it forward but I don’t do that because I am afraid it will cause it to start at the beginning again.

Just got home from Indy a couple of hour ago with plans to watch the Finals rebroadcast.

Why did they start it this morning? 🙄

    Oh well, what a week!

You can still start it now.

That said, I don’t seem to be able to move the slider.  I can only watch from the beginning.

I’m hoping that is just because it is still loading and it will change when it is fully loaded.

Cuz the brass judge had the easiest job of the evening. All he had to do was understand all if the following:

    1) Crown was going to win brass, no matter what

    2) BD was going to win the championship, no matter what, no harm in putting them second

    3) everyone else may as well be in their performance slot

easy peasy. No drama. Bloo had to be third cuz of 1) and 2) though.

Except the Troopers beat the Colts in brass, but I’m sure there’s a simple Illuminati rule to explain that too.

    Forces before Horses?
