I haven't heard back from Tony yet so, let's hold off until I know what to do. I am hoping to get a large number of shirts rather than just a sprinkling.

Okay boss, I found a couple. What’s next? Are we amassing a large number of them and sending them at once or do we mail them to someone at Regiment directly?

you don't know how much the current members love this.
many are wearing them all the time. My son is said to have 7 of them and wears them often!!
He can't wait to give back too
Make sure he washes them before giving them back!😁

I think they’ve been below Blue Stars a once or twice the past week or two in brass content, but I’m a bit surprised by Troopers being above them. Also, the gaps were a bit more pronounced than I thought they’d be.
Oh well, I guess. If there’s one person in the marching arts community I trust to get brass scores up, it’s JD Shaw.
Given the major paradigm shift they’ve managed to pull off this season, I’m sure the staff is paying attention to judges’ feedback and making the appropriate adjustments.

This started back in the Pat Seidling days. Between me and my mom we gave the MMs about 40 Regiment t-shirts that we collected over the years. Corps management handed them out during corps history night. They loved them and it was so cool seeing the MMs wearing them at practices. Talk about a win-win. I also donated a couple of “antique shirts” to the corps’ fundraising silent auction.
Come to think of it, I may have some extra shirts to donate to the cause. I’ll see what I have.

Boston is Carolina Crown 4-5 years ago. However, CC sounds so much better than Boston tonight. The staging of Boston’s show is so much better than CC’s this year.

The guard should really simulate “whipping” of the members on the cage at the end there. Take “sinning” to a new level with the BDSM reference
That’s kinda perverted.

Nope, not at all. The unis are drab and don’t pop.

To me it’s really clear the colts are trying to build something after a few failed attempts the last decade.
This show is streamlined and consistent from beginning to end.
Ens visual is probably their biggest weakness but also probably easiest thing to clean
Not sure the unis are helping the visual scores.

How about a rotating DNA strand Rockford File?

I turned 50 last month and just found out that I’m going to be a grandfather, so I think that officially makes me a Dino now. How do I apply for my card?
It just shows up via Pony Express.
congrats on being a grandparent!

So what new move do you think will give them a bump in scoring? Asking for a FMM.
An “Alien Crab Step”?

I'm suggesting that it WON'T impact the score either way so, with that in mind, why re-write part of the show (rather than just cleaning what you have which will impact the score) just to add something that, more than likely, will not be the difference between 5th and 6th.
So what new move do you think will give them a bump in scoring? Asking for a FMM.

Don’t get me wrong I am thrilled with the show and execution, I just hope it’s the springboard to top 5 or 6
You know this corps is notorious for coming on strong when it counts.

How would everyone feel if PR finishes 7th? I’d really be disappointed after the new direction to only finish 1 spot ahead of last year. Sadly, it seems to be a strong possibility at this point.
It ain’t over until the Allentown tweaks are added.

Any updates? I trust this design team will maximize this show’s potential. In case you’re reading this Tony…. Marie absolutely loved you. I do too. You’ve assembled an incredible team and JD, thank your for restoring this amazing sound! The percussion staff and performers are getting stronger with each performance. You are simply the best! To the guard and dance team….what a beautiful contribution you all have made to this production. Can’t wait to see how this season unfolds.
please please please keep this design/instruction staff in place for years to come because y’all are doing an AMAZING job.
many thanks!
