Can’t wait to see them tonight and Saturday in San Antonio. I’ll be taking my 19yo son to his first drum corps show. A couple of months ago (before I got tickets) he randomly mentioned that he missed seeing his sister do all the things with her high school band, Reagan. (Rose Parade, BOA, Macy’s…) I’d never really gotten the impression he was much into it (probably isn’t really, TBH) so I was caught off guard when he mentioned it. Then I checked to see what the ticket situation was…
50 yard line, row 8. He’s in for a shock, LOL.
Yell extra loud for those of us that can’t be there. Anxious to hear what your son thinks of today’s drum corps. After all these shows are designed for his age group.

Every coach I’ve been in, those hatches can be open. Oh well, I still don’t buy bus temp as issue.
Is this a conspiracy?

I see BD going undefeated for awhile - don't know if they will make it all the way. Boston 2nd, with Crown and Bloo 3rd and 4th. I see less than 1.5 from 1st - 4th. Cadets 5th, and who knows what after that.
Nope

very sad to hear about PR tonight, i was looking forward to seeing them compete. hopefully they can spring back soon.
Nothin’ about springing back. Noting wrong with them…. It’s staff watching out for them. As a volunteer who works outside in the heat of AZ in 100+ temps, I applauded Regiment’s decision to protect their MMs. This weather sucks.

Shoot, let's make it interesting with 87.75...
I’d be thrilled with a high 84 low 85 at this point.

You’ve been through the mill but came out of this in pretty good shape. And for this, we are so very thankful. It’s great to have you back!

Having marched PR or not, or even whether you’ve followed them for decades, everything is so new with them this year, who knows what’s in store? This is a brand new Regiment. I wouldn’t put anything past them right now.
Yes!

Can confirm.
Also, changes are always going to be a little bit unsettling, regardless of them being good or bad. Just the nature of both the audience and performers getting acclimated to newness.
Add to that a wet field with tarps on top.

This is a vast improvement over their first show. I was worried about them, but not any more.
My wife marched Crossmen, she'd have been really proud of them tonight.
Agreed, much improved. The opener still needs tweaking.

Not getting the love vibe from CC’s show this year. The sound is there but the visual package is lacking.
