  1. I'm interested in selling or trading my baby; Kanstul 1570CR with a gold brass bell. It's my pride and joy, but I just can't get this other horn out of my head :) The horn is in great condition, it plays great and has an awesome slide. There's some light scratches on the bell, but nothing that's really obvious, and a scratch or two on the slide. There's some slight wear around the bell rim, but it doesn't affect anything and isn't visually distracting unless you're looking for it. This is a great horn with the CR valve, E-pull on the f-attachment tuning slide, and three leadpipes (BB, ML, MO). It is easy to play and has a big, warm sound. It just takes all the air I can put into it. I love it to death but lately I've been gravitating towards a slightly more malleable sound, and I found that the Yamaha 882OR fits the sound in my head. I'm asking 1750 for the horn. but will consider reasonable offers as well as trade offers(let me know what you got!) possibly with cash from either party. $1750 will get you the horn, leadpipes, and a black hardshell case. We can talk about including a like new chocolate brown ProTec case. Basically, if you have something else in mind, just let me know! and we can discuss, I just need to finance my new horn, or whatever you have in mind for a trade if i'm interested. And possibly to pay for me to try out for corps! Price is plus shipping, we can go half and half on that. Horn will be available after December 3rd (juries day! I need a horn for that!:P)
  2. I'm in. I'm not on here much lately since I got lots of stuff going on, but as long as I'm still hanging around, I'll pitch in
  3. But Glover Stadium is just as big as either Titan or LeBard Stadium, and it actually is in Anaheim =[ ah well, the chosen location is surely a better drum corps venue, not much warm up room at Glover
  4. Hey! That's my home town! But in a baseball field? Where's the press box??

  6. Just park up on the front sideline and blow my face off! If you can't march it yet, then fine. I'll put up with that for the first week or so. But come on, at least play the end of the show
  7. I'll go ahead and post some stadium pics for Thursday's shows, since Galen isn't available. Thursday: Biloxi MS- Biloxi HS Toledo OH- Glass Bowl Stadium: Nice venue for a drum corps show New London CT- Cadet Memorial Field @ the US Coast Guard Academy: Portland OR- PGE Park: Yes. Baseball AND football stadium. Let's hope the box is on the 50. And it looks like the general public can just walk up and watch from the sidewalk.
  8. I know it's a little late, but might as well With Los Osos' recent move to Open Class, the new uniforms to match the new corps colors have not yet been completed, so they will be using their old uniforms for now. The same goes for Penguin Brigade, who will soon have a new (and permanent) uniform. That being said, here is Penguin Brigade's current uniform: Los Osos: Harlequin Alliance:
  9. I start off every uniform i do by hand. Then I scan it and change things as necessary. It's not as difficult as it looks, you just need some creativity. But that's just me, I don't know how anyone else does them. Here's a sample of my stuff: Nowhere near as good as 8two5's old work, sadly, but I try. I like to think I do a fine job for my designs being just a hobby
  10. If this passes, I quit drum corps for good. They should just let us enjoy it for what it is, instead of making an empire out of drum corps
  11. Thanks for your answers! I was thinking of actually producing some sound clips for this season, and that would include a harmonica at the beginning of the show
  12. Would the use of harmonicas be allowed in DCI? What about DCP-I?
