  1. Im going old school on you I loved then, and still do, the Madison horn ripple after their pre-show warm up.. The Vanguard uniform change in the tunnel Garfield tenor line switching drums and playing behind the back SCV coming onto the track, single file, slow, at HUGE intervals. I actually started watching them instead of the show on the field
  2. They're not so famous but after seeing The Blue Man Group in Vegas, I talked with some of the drummers. Most of them marched corps.
  3. In 75 I marched with the Bleu Raeders... I guess the spelling through all of the announcers off?? Never knew what we were going to be called. Not only that but we never knew if we were going to be from Metarie, Kenner, or New Orleans week to week. We had em confused....
  4. Man you are so right. You all were simply amazing that year. Something you might not be aware of, during the announcing of the scores, We (the BlueStars) were standing next to the Blue Devils between the two of you. We could hear you all yelling for YOUR drum trophy. We all heard you as did they. It was quite funny. Personally, I think they should've handed it over.
  5. Hey all, Looking for all my old school drum buddies. Anybody from the 70's qualifies. I Cant believe we're all this old now. I feel it, just can't believe it. I hope each and everyone of you are all having a wonderful Christmas Holiday and wish you all a very Merry Christmas..Good to be here, hope I hear from some folks I know.
