  1. I remember rewinding this segment a million times on my VHS recording--thanks for posting it!
  2. Star of Indiana started their run in 1985 in 10th place, also their first year in existence, and gradually rose up the ranks.
  3. I came to say the same thing! Now, however, I love that show.
  4. That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the title of this thread. Completely agree.
  5. I just got home: show is about 10 minutes from my house. Boston was amazingly entertaining, polished and just a beautiful show from start to finish. I have to say I probably enjoyed their show the most. Bluecoats and Phantom were also both just great--vastly different shows, but thoroughly enjoyable in their own ways. Phantom's color guard was just phenomenal. I don't think they dropped any of their 'bit hit' tosses--overall, a great show from all the corps. Spirit's uniforms were awesome. Crossmen, solid show, but I wished the Metheny tunes were more apparent--it never really sounded like there was a melody.
  6. yeah, i love the scouts uniform. awesome stuff.
  7. my first reaction to this uniform is 'wow'. how very retro, classy, perfect. i'm a casual drum corps fan, never marched corps, but always try to get to a show when i can out here in Washington, DC area. I'm afraid I can't classify myself as an expert at drum corps by any stretch, but that Madison uniform this year speaks to me and seems to fit the essence of their musical selections perfectly.
  8. Warrenton was bad for them? I have to say, that behind Crown, Glassmen was my handsdown favorite. I was smiling the entire show. I haven't been to a DCI show in at least 4 years, and Glassmen's show was a great welcome back for me. Great job!
