  1. Hey Folks, the Brigadiers are holding our 1st camp and open house this weekend! Saturday is from 11am-5pm and Sunday 9am-3pm. Camp is at Canastota high school. The Brigadiers are looking for new members that have the drive and ambition to become part of a world class Drum & Bugle Corps. If you play a brass or percussion instrument or you want to be in a color guard, come on out to the camp this weekend! Brass and Percussion are going to meet on Saturday and Sunday, while the guard is only meeting Sunday! If you are on the fence about being a Brigadier....Jump off! This music and the show we have coming is one that DCA audiences are going to remember for years to come! I had the chance to hear a midi our ballad, Rosalina de Cortez, written by the world renowned Wayne Downey and it sounds great! We will be playing it this weekend during rehearsal! There is absolutly no commitment this weekend! If you want to just come and check us out, then come on out! Even you alumni, that want to just come play with the competitive corps, come on out this weekend! I have already heard of a few Alumni that will be coming. The Brigadiers Range in Age from 15 years old all the way to our oldest at 67 years old! Come on and check out one of the most renowned Drum Corps of all time, winning 5 DCA Championship titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002!! You won't regret it! And as Always.....Be the "B"

  3. Ok, the Hellebergs are good for the money, but if this is something you want to do for a while....i would invest in a Laskey 30H mouthpiece. it's like the Helleberg, except it has a deeper cup, and a darker sound. And this is the only mouthpiece i have found that sounds and plays awesome on Contra and concert tuba! hope this helps!
  4. its a, its similar! the arrangements are going to be like the ones on WD's website but he has to add something like 3 more minutes to the show
  5. No, it is based off of the same story but will be arranged a bit different.
