  1. For the sake of modesty, I hope the kilts aren't too high up. Thanks for all the great pics!!!
  2. That's terrific news!! Heck, they should compete!
  3. Maybe we've just realized as a group that the " Flash Mob" concept is as fresh as leisure suits and pet rocks.
  4. That's a complex question Ed, probably more suitable for another forum:
  5. "Sattva" is a hindu term that is used in Yoga. It refers to an object or being having purity and resisting in creating evil in the world. Dave Monette borrows terms from Yoga for most of his instrument types. He's been involved in Yoga for many years and incorporates it in his business philosophy. You should definitely contact him and provide him the very important feedback you cited. I'm sure he, as does the rest of the world, would benefit greatly from your wisdom.
  6. Hmmm...better late than never: http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php/topic/113064-monette-in-g/page__p__2256208__hl__monette__fromsearch__1#entry2256208My link
  7. Can't wait to see this. Watching them warmup and perform numerous times that season, I still believe them to be the most talented line I've ever encountered.
  8. Because you can't be the foshizzle without the mixolyzzle.
  9. Actually Mike, I believe the reference was targeted towards Heather and her pink Zoot Suit she wears as a performer in the 'Hit Men.'
  10. You probably right g-rott. Besides, a little bird told me that it was actually Santa Clara Vanguard's percussionists who recorded the tracks for Super Bowl halftime. Although, NFL Referee Ed Hochuli swore to me that John Donovan overdubbed all the percussion tracks himself, and even dubbed Madonna's vocals: My link
  11. I'm curious to know if The Cadets had to sign a non-disclosure agreement that permanently forbids them to promote their involvement in prerecording portions for the halftime production. Other groups involved in last nights events had to refrain from disclosing their involvement until shortly before the event, but could eventually announce their participation. If the Cadets did record portions for lsst evening's halftime show, it's sad that they can't take credit for it. It's even sadder that George may have circumvented said agreement with his Facebook antics last evening (posts that now appear to have been removed by the user).
  12. Sound great guys! The Dilorenzo is a brutal piece to perform, but great for the listener. It should be a wonderful performance.
  13. "They call Alabama the Razorbacks... They call me Deacon Orange."
  14. Wasn't Marc Sullivan the visual guy who worked with George Zingalistein? I think they were on the same design/instructional/management team as Donnie VanMeter, Thom Hammurabi, Jim Primakov, Peggy Twigovics, and George Hopwurtz.
