It would not be a logistical nightmare. Simply publish the date and tell the members this is when we get to visit the President. We hope you can make it. Not everyone will be able to get to DC, but most would. The other, more likely thing that could actually happen, is to get the President to record a message to be broadcast at DCI Finals over the big screen.

Blue Stars are consistently one of the last corps to announce their show. Waiting for clearance does not necessarily mean copyright "issues". it means they want to make sure all the t's are crossed and i's are dotted before going public with the show.

I would say The Academy. 18th to 11th could happen for a corps that finished 13th in 2007. Of course, I have no idea how their winter has gone.

Exciting stuff seeing the Blue Stars need for a tenor player result in such a long thread. I am not sure why this seems to rub some the wrong way. They have not found a fourth player with enough talent to make the line. Why is this a problem?
