My dad is in his 70's and had some serious operations on his right knee. This is not too bad of an idea for him. I'll check it out. I have not always been happy at all the venues for him as it was difficult to get into the stands EVEN with my assistance. Some have been better than others. I really think its bad when a stadium doesn't even have handrails to hold on to for people to climb. I don't need them, but a lot of people like my father do need them. I usually make an extra trip the day before the event to just check out the facility for this very reason.

I'm thinking that maybe the pre-show stuff that corps already have now should just begin to take place immediately after the last note of the previous corps performing.(Less any pit or guard equipment along the sideline) It's a pre-show right? And while this is going on the pit and guard can set-up after the other corps has moved all their equipment from the front sideline....This way the pre-show is going on during the set-up...Just my idea...not sure if it would work logistically though...

How about punch card ballots as your leaving the stadium

It would probably screw with the database results...so you may be right...if it's included it may just be a pdf or something like that...

While I imagine it makes it fun for the fans to be able to vote their favorites wherever they may be...I still feel it should just people who attend the show....

In this regard its almost a system built at the expense of others..or at least insurmountable odds...drum corps history has proven this to be true...I can honestly say I never left my corps...not to be arrogant but I was talented enough to go anywhere I wanted...at the same time I respect others decision to go where they have chosen to go...I don't think this aspect will ever change without a formal rule change...

That's awesome a show is sold out..I wish all the shows all season were sell outs!

I guess it would be super crazy if they did a random draw for the entire lineup....lol

My definition of cheese: Specifically that which is unsubtle or inauthentic in its way of trying to elicit a certain response from a viewer, listener, or audience.

You only get rewarded as season progresses for demand if it is EXECUTED with precision (forms and transitions SHARP)etc...BK if they execute WATCH OUT!..their show has A LOT of DEMAND...

I enjoyed it...great entertaining performance :) I really thought you guys were on FIRE in 2008 in Rochester with Nocturne - Song for the Night...My dad had you guys above the Buccs. It was a great performance that night...

I really don't see a need to juggle things around either. Let the order be as it is from the regional...end of story. Who actually did this draw anyway? Did they pick out of a hat?....lol

What are your thoughts about the "Bring Me Home" visual segment of the show? I've seen some criticism about the white silk not being worth the effort of the effect. I've also read criticism that the hornline doesn't move and make any drill sets. Does anyone else have a opinion about this aspect?

I think its still anyone's game for the 7-11 spots right now...2 points or less spreads can change in a heartbeat IMO. Just add a tenth or two across the board...and BAM...lol

No offense taken...Honestly I think your reading to much into my reply. I really have no problem with constructive criticism per se. I have criticized "my corps" more than once about something I didn't care for over these years and even this week. While I do try to be balanced...I will admit it can be hard at times to be objective. I'm sure many people feel the same for their respective corps...

I honestly think its a myth that lightning will affect the computer like that as long as your properly grounded and have good surge protection. On the other hand, it is your asset to protect how you see fit.

Lacking depth?...I disagree....The only thing is possible lack of DEMAND...I actually like the soli feature much better now and I was not as much a fan of it June...I am also happy they got rid of the electronics in the drum feature... BUT let's get them to add 50 sets of drill there just for the sake of adding drill...and while were at it they should throw in a bunch of filler material "just because" with no rationale behind any of it

I don't think it did anything for promotion...sorry...90% of marketing doesn't work anyway...but having said that...I understand your point. I hope the kids enjoyed themselves...I think clinics are an awesome idea though..nothing new of course...but a good experience for all involved.
