  2. Is there any way to have a mass message sent out to all directors just prior to voting? I'm sure a lot of people like myself work full time and don't always get the opportunity to stop by the forums.
  3. This early into the season I don't think a tie is a big deal. If in the final rankings there is a tie, it should be broken by the highest average score for each organization. So add up the scores for the World, Open and A class corps for the Org. and divide by 3 and the higher score takes it.

  5. Following a very successful season for our young organization we're very excited to unveil the designs for our A and Open class corps that complement the great logo of our World class corps The Elite Brigade. Starorg Creations has worked with our organization both diligently and patiently on the designs and we couldn't be happier with the end result! We look forward to showcasing these amazing designs in the upcoming season! If anyone is looking to have logo work done you should definitely talk to Mitch (forum name: StarOrg). He is the MAN!!!
  6. The Elite Brigade (World) finished in 5th not 6th.
  7. Congratulations to The Knights on a job very well done!!! The Elite Brigade is pleased with our highest placement yet in the young history of our organization. The level of competition was phenomenal this year and after a 1st place finish in semis we dropped to 5th. A slight let down for the organization but a huge accomplishment and step in the right direction. In only our second season as a 3 class organization, The Elite Youth Arts Association is very proud to have all 3 of its corps finish the season as finalists. We look to continue our climb amongst the great organizations of DCPI, and job well done to all organizations this season!
  8. Congrats to our Open and A class Champions, Glory of Bellatrix and The Detroit City Council!!!
  9. The GE tiebreaker went to California Knights, LOL
  10. After the 1st round of Championships ALL THREE of my corps are in 9th place. What are the odds? LOL

  12. NO! I don't think that "number crunchers" should be faulted for being proactive and prepared. I understand this is a fantasy league but if the professor gave you the answers to the test and you still got an "F" its your fault for not studying. That's how i feel on the issue. And number crunching is not a guarantee of a championship and If I recall correctly Finals were generated scores in last off season anyways.
  13. Yes, should make things more fun and encourage more directors to participate in all 3 classes.
  14. NO I completely agree with Hostrauser!!!
  15. I say NAY to this one. It makes the playing field uneven. Groups that are in the lower tier should not be given an unfair and unearned points advantage. The point of DCPI as with any fantasy league is to make the best possible selections. And those who make the best selections win the league/championship. This would be like giving the last place team in a fantasy football league an extra quarterback. Not to mention that things were EXTREMELY tight this year. Top 25 in world class this year were separated by 2 points. How much closer do we need it??
  16. Rule Change: Do not include full 8 caption scoring recaps at all during the season. Only show 3 caption (GE, Visual, Music) Rationale: Protect/maintain integrity and prevent any unearned advancements by undeserving groups. I think we all saw a lot of groups shoot near the top last minute during this last season. By posting 3 caption scores it protects the selections of all directors and allows the season to be more enjoyable as well as fair. Submitted by: Inland Empire Youth Arts Association
