You know, I would venture to guess there are people involved who would love to trim drum corps down, but they're probably thinking in terms of single digits. However, I am a conspiracy theorist. I don't think it's the lot of them, though. As far as Dan goes, I've always liked the man. I can't imagine the craziness that is his job. Try to imagine all the personalities in this activity trying to get what they want out of you. Wait. Let's trim that number down to single digits. Try to imagine Hopkins on one side of you, "I think the Cadets should win every year.", and Gibbs on the other side, "I think the Blue Devils should win every year." Man, I'd pull out a gun, but I don't think I'd use it on myself. Gibbs is probably angry that he was mentioned after George in this post, so I reversed them in this sentence to keep the peace. Hey, I heard Rich Hammond is leaving the Surf and taking over at the Blue Devils. When I got back from a cheap soda at the store across from the stadium, I heard he was taking over for the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets. I was wondering, since he's such a commodity, whether or not he's in consideration for the Cadets gig? Anyone know? I'm also going to say that I love staff shake-ups after finals.
