That doesnt make any sense, its seems like you're saying "if people dont make their dream corps, they should just not march at all." Just being honest. I heard there were well over 200, maybe close to 230 there auditioning but that might just be a rumor.

you should get a stuffed animal, put it in the drum then rip it open and get its fuzz everywhere. it probably wouldn't be as messy as a real animal in the end

they should just put on a true hour concert of all their music for an encore

i would say get to a camp, make yourself known to the staff and members. plus seeing nice faces at auditions/camps that smile say hi and make small talk is a real boost.

these few i feel are changing slowly. im in the midwest, and slowly its building with participants. then these participants come back home and convince their friends. these friends new to marching bring their families and friends, which means more fans. the only problem is there arent enough shows in the midwest. and the last one if you want to say big loud live as witnessing a show, then it has increased. what was the "star of indiana situation"? i guess im too young

maybe the judges will be more critical so there arent ties, so in the end the corps wont be scoring nearly as high. just a thought. so for the pre-recorded things, who will determine if the pre-recorded sound effect is or is not music. because it clearly states "sequenced" music will not be allowed. will a whistle be musical and fall into the not allowed category? it seems that a lot of things could be classified as music or musical with their new definition. even if its a bunch of doors slamming, if it does it in time, then that would be musical, would it not? basically from what I gather from this, A LOT of things could be thought of as music or musical which would then be illegal if they are pre recorded. but im probably wrong seems like someone will have a tough time over the summer making sure sounds aren't prerecorded and that corps aren't breaking copyright laws

well this is from jan 2006, the most recent season would have been 2005. but it is interesting seeing what people thought back then and how much was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off
