where can i find a list finals placements online? i briefly googled and found nothing and couldnt find what i was looking for on the drum corps wiki page. but hey its 5am and i need sleep

i think your right, i am always looking for that thing which will just drop my jaw, and i think i was expecting more this year when i saw it. i dont think they got it in till finals and the second jump over. but i miss them just bouncing around in lines or in the moving boxes. they are still incredible, and i use them as example of people who ask whats special about drum corps.

now that ive been informed hes still their writer, ill ask: why does it seem like their drill has gotten slower or less impressive? im not saying they dont do impressive things in their drill still, cause they do, but it just seems like they arent all over the field as much as the used to be, imo.

04 cavaliers flipping the triangle at the end of the drum break. did it in hs pretty simple to learn. 99 cavaliers the ode to joy box with small roatating boxes, its been done by them before, but thats the one i remember pretty much any early 2000s cavaliers, the writer then was impressive

wasnt it established it doesnt really matter what the horn is, as long as its decent, its about the instruction and talent thats behind the horn? was their last uni copyrighted or trademarked or something by the last company? because if it was that would mean they might have a different look. maybe darker

wouldnt it be better musically if the staff could hear the entire corps play something multiple times many months before incase it sounds bad and needs to be rewritten or just tweaked a bit? plus theres more time to make hard decisions. imagine if they didnt do this what some of the stuff might sound like in june

how long was their,phantoms', show on everyones dvd's? how would you tell if you got the edited version? and finally, have these "new" dvd's been sent out already? just curious cause i ordered mine on thanksgiving and got it maybe the next tuesday and im thinking i got the good version

win isnt it averaged into quarterfinals, so thats a 0 or do they just average the scores from the other regionals they attend and not san antonio a 0 average is somethin terrible, i know a lil somethin bout those...

youre probably right about the blessing thing, i do know theyre cheaper than most others i got my stork, maybe freshmen year in hs and now im a sophomore in college, randomly at a local not music store that really specialized in guitar, bass, drumset and the people really knew nothing about brass/woodwind or other orchestra band stuff. they ordered the mouthpiece out of their catalog and it was the same price as a bach 3C maybe cheaper, thats probably why i bought it instead of the bach. in the end good investment.

i like what you said, but i can kind of understand why people wouldnt march if they didnt make "their" corps. its a lot of money, time and effort spent thats not refunable for them to be unhappy with where they are. i do think that if you dont make corps a, dont wait till next year to go back, go to corps b make some friends and maybe discover you like it there better and end up staying. you only have so much time to march as people have probably figured out

im gonna have to say no. ive talked to people from 07 and 08 scouts and they will tell you they didnt and i believe them. the only thing that would be kinda caring about scores is in 08 and that was just fighting to perform their show as many times. a guy i talked to put it like this: "the only reason we cared at all about our scores is we didnt want to sit and watch crossmen perform while we sat out on finals night" i wouldnt really say thats a care about your scoring you just want to do what you love to do as many times as you possibly can. and i think people take shots at bd because theyve been in the lime light for what 34 out of the 36yrs dci has even been around. and when your always in the spotlight people are bound to randomly hate you no matter what you do or how you act and its ridiculous how theres so much random hate to random corps for whatever reason even if its a stupid reason ex. cadets start on right foot. what i think of when i think bd is high trumpets, flawless drill, good drums what they do with their percussion they do it fairly well (i know little about drums so i cant tell you how good or complicated they truly are)

i like to do basic things like lube or maybe take a towel rub down the slides then regrease and leave the rest for the local shop. a good chemical bath everyonce in a while never hurt anyone and it keeps it nice and clean
