Main Street, Mansfield, TX; The Mouser Electronics building - enter on the south side of the building. The fee is $25.00 and will apply to your season's dues. Bring a music stand if you have one as the site does not have them available. If you are a drummer, bring a drum stand. It's Texas and if you have ever had the soles of your shoes melt on astro-turf then you would definitely appreciate an indoor performance venue. 42 is a brand new corps, and for 2010, the corps will be joining the Small Drum Corps Association to perform as an Arena Drum Corps.. FPAA will also be working to develop a state-wide competition circuit for Arena Drum Corps in Texas. We are in the process of starting a new all-age drum corps in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. If you would like to learn more about the corps please come to our interest meeting, September 26, 2009, from 2:00 PM til 4:00 PM. The meeting is open to prospective members, potential volunteers, and future fans of the corps. The meeting will be held at the Golden Corral restaurant in Grapevine, TX. We are in the need of: Volunteers - for uniform repair and maintenance. sewing, helping us come up with souvenier ideas, handle PR to get the word out about the corps, and all the other myriad activities needed for a succesfule corps. Fundraising Volunteers - Help us come up with creative ways to buy uniforms, instruments, and build an indoor performance circuit for D/FW, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.
