  3. The Buglers Hall of Fame will be sponsoring it's 4th North American Championship for Individual & Ensemble Brass & Percussion on Saturday, April 24, 2010. This event is open to all regardless of affiliation. Prior to this show we have held two regionals, Garfield and Boston. Both regionals were a hugh success for both BHOF and Co-sponsors the New York Skyliner Alumni (Garfield) and St Kevin's Emerald Knights Alumni (Boston). The show will take place at the Holiday Inn, 1070 Main Street, Bridgeport, Ct starting at 10 am At 4 pm the Buglers Hall of Fame members will be awarding all medals and trophies to the winners. Entries are available at buglershalloffame.com. Cut off for entry is April 12, 2010. Later that same day starting at 7 pm, BHOF will be having there sixth annual Dinner & Induction ceremony for the Class of 2010. This is also available to anyone wishing to attend. The Buglers Hall of Fame with Co-Sponsor St. Kevins Emerald Knights will be hosting the 1st annual Boston Regional Individual & Ensemble show on Saturday March 20, 2010 at 55 Hallet Street, Boston, Ma. The show is made up of Individual Brass & Percussion performers, Ensembles, Mini-Corps and Alumni Corps and is open to all performers regardless of affiliation. To date numerous individuals have signed on to perform on soprano, mid range, baritone, contra & percussion. Brass ensembles, Mini corps and Alumni Corps include Bob's Brass Band, Basement Brass, Defenders Quartet, Mass Brass, West Sayville Golden Eagles, Pembroke Imperials, St Rita's Brassmen Alumni, Selden Cadets Alumni, Rockland Defenders, Boston Crusaders and co-sponsor St Kevin's Emerald Knights. If you missed the Garfield Regional on February 27 be sure you make the drive to Boston. These shows are about getting together with old drum corps frineds to enjoy a day of musical entertainment, food, drinks and camaraderie.   8. The Buglers Hall of Fame is proud to announce the third annual North American Championship for Individual and Ensemble Brass and Percussion, Mixed Ensembles, Mini-Corps and Alumni Corps. The show is being co-sponsored by Dynasty and Kanstul Musical Instruments and will take place Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Germania Schwaben Hall, 416 Horace Street, Bridgeport, Ct. Start time is 1 pm. The show is open to all performers regardless of affiliation. Our prior show (The Garfield Regional) held in co-sponsorship with the NY Skyliner Alumni on Feb 28th was a great success with over 35 performers and special guest appearance by the Holy Name (Garfield Cadets) Alumni who brough the house down with "King of Kings". There are numerous entries in all catagories including The Romeo's, St Kevins, Capital Brass, West Sayville Golden Eagles, St Rita's Brassmen, The Selden Cadets, Park City Pride, The Connecticut Alumni. Special performances by BHOF members include, Ruben Ariola, Kenton Clarke, Frank Dorritie, Bob Gaff, Eddie Hayward, Art Hlywa, Jimmy Maldonado, Tom Martin, Dave (Booch) Negri, Frank Ponzo, Ritchie Price, John (Grass) Urspruch, Jim Cossetti and more.   10. The Buglers Hall of Fame Individual show co-sponsored by the Skyliner Alumni, Dynasty & Kanstul will take place at the Benda-Roehrich VFW Post 340 Outwater Lane, Garfield, NJ. Start time is 1 pm. There are numerous entries in all catagories to date including the Romeo's, an exhibition by Brooklyn United, plus Garfield's own Holy Name (Garfiels Cadets) Alumni. If you have not yet sent in your entry you may do so by going to buglershalloffame.com and downloading the Entry Application. You can fax the entry to 203-334-1083 so we may list you in the schedule. Also, you can enter the day of the show starting at 12 noon. This is what drum corps used to be and is now back for your participation and enjoyment of the activity. Look for some special performances by Kenton Clark, John Grass, Ruben Ariola, Dave Negri, Jim Cossetti, Jim Maldonado to mention a few. Did I mention the Bar will be open with hot food, 50/50 which last year grossed $ 800.00. John Grass also has a Karoke machine for some added fun.
