Were you at the show and do you know anything about this circuit? First of all, great show. Kind of a preview for championships. This is the second circuit show I've seen this year. Four favorites.... Shen SRA, Northstars JV, Northstars Var., Shen World.
My question about the circuit, or groups in the circuit...Why are there varsity guards hanging out with middle school and jr. high groups at the SRA level. Congrats to Baldwinsville for winning, but do you belong in this class? The skill sets on the Regional A sheet, is it calling for quads and fives? I don't think so. The little kids at the RA level don't have the strength to pull it off. Baldwinsville and Westmoreland jam packed with huck and chuck. People in the stands were commenting that they are rebuilding. Well Westmoreland has been in this class for a few years. Why don't these high school SRA groups rebuild in a class of age and/or grade appropriateness. Take a look up at the SA2 class. APW promoted from SRA last year and are trying to get their feet wet in the class, and although I don't know Mohansen, their parents were saying this is a rebuilding year. Should the goal of a high school guard be to rehab in the SA2 class and then move on to the SA1 class? I don't see an educational value in what's happening at the SRA level.
The SA1 class was fun to watch. Loved ESM show concept. Where the Sidewalk Ends. Their ending is fantastic. Northstars Varsity can move! Check out their boy, best dancer of the night!!!
Don't give up on Shenendehowa World just yet. Great job.
Is Spectrum going to Mid-Yorks next weekend?
