  1. 1)SCV-Fight out between the top three all year and edge it out on finals night 2)Crown-Crowd favorite yet again just not enough juice again 3)BD-Solid Show that no one understands 4)Cadets-Play loud but visually dirty 5)Phantom-Try to get back to the old form 6)Boston-Boldest prediction. I sense good things from this corps 7)Cavies-Sensing a fall much like Phantom 09 but manage to scrap in to the 7th spot 8)Blucoats-No one will be around them on either side scorewise 9)Colts-Staff changes and some sour grapes from 09 will push this corps to highest finish in corps history 10)Bluestars-another BOA show yet this time not quite as accepted 11)Troopers-Prove they deserve to be in and a three way fight all year with colts and stars 12)Glassmen-another mundane show barely edge out madison for the last spot 13)Madison-staff changes are a success one more year in they'll be in the hunt for a top ten spot 14)Blue knights- Boring show again well cause this normal finalist to drop 15)Crossmen-yea i got nothing 16)Academy-Very exciting corps just cant seem to find their identity 17)Surf-Great year for the corps on more year and they'll be sitting on the brink for finals
  2. Word is the colts are having a great offseason, but will they have enough to not only get back in finals but scare a lot of other corps doing it. I guess what I'm saying is will they squeak into finals, will they have a door breaking season and make finals comfortably, or will they be on the outside looking in again. Thoughts?
  3. As it seems to me the colts are marching the 64 to have have the best of the best out there on the field. I can only hope they put the extra members in there already strong point guard. With cesario already on board i can only imagine he wants more pageantry and what would achieve that more then tons of guard goin all out
  4. Every corps has kids that aren't ready for the activity. And from my understanding some of the corps higher leaders tried out for other corps got cut and decided to stay with the colts when all is said and done. And as a sidenote I love that the corps really does act like a family and to take a quote from one of my friends who marches there "I would back anyone from my corps, hell I'd even take a bullet for them." This is an outstanding group of individuals who I love watching perform
  5. To shed some light on the topic (one of my best friends whose got 5 years in the corps) has told me that he has never heard the drumline sound this good this early especially the snare line. He has also told me that as said before that the horn-line, battery and pit have all ensembled on the first couple songs which includes what is now becoming a staple of the corps a big brass hit to start the show. Also after seeing the January camp dog and pony show in person the color guard looks amazing as usual for this corps. I'm not expecting the colts to win the "ring" but so far on what i've heard and seen some other corps should start to worry a little about the drumcorps of the corn
  6. sounds like that missed camp is a blessing in disguise for the colts. Is any other corps having a camp every two weeks like the colts? I'm starting to think that maybe there is a lot of underestimating of the potential that this corps could have going into the seasonhttp://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif
