  4. Has anyone else noticed that Scholastic A seems to be VERY strong this year? Just speaking about scores, it looks as though the finalists (top 15) could potentially all break 90. Has this ever happened before? Thoughts?
  5. I have written some in the past. I am familiar with the process. It's just would be a shame if Austin wasn't reviewed this year. Save it.
  6. No review on wgi.org for the Austin Regional? Boo, WGI....boo.
  7. Week 4 updated. Added IRA, IO, SW, and IW. Enjoy.
  8. Yes it is! As units get promoted, I will be placing them in their updated classes once they perform in that new class (Just to avoid confusion!)
  9. Of course it's positive, MHSmirage! Just for fun :) I'm really not concerned with the bickering. It's also fun!! Thanks, aguardguy, for checking out the site. After everyone's pleas to add the other classes, you will all be happy to know that I will add them after this weekend :) HoustonBaby...thanks for your support! Some people just don't know how to relax! ;-)
  10. Here's a little snippet from the website: "This is unofficial and meant just for fun and interest and has no impact on how a unit does at contest." I completely recognize the problems with these types of things....that's why it's just for fun. I'm having trouble understanding why you're so upset about this. The cool thing about the internet is that if you do not like something, you don't have view it. :)
  11. Thanks for the suggestions, Michael! I will be adding the Austin and Houston Regionals for all units that compete in their classification and not across sheets. (That gets messy!) There's only 2 Ind. World and 1 Sch. World. I'm not going to do rankings for them. The formula that I'm using is similiar to the one that www.guardbuzz.com uses for the WGI rankings. It's on the home page. Thanks for visiting!! Keep the feedback coming.
  12. Only 2 units in IWorld class, and 1 in SWorld. Not going to do rankings for them. But that doesn't mean I don't think they've worked hard! Also, this is just for fun. Just like the WGI Rankings. If you're not interested, then you simply don't have to visit the site.

  15. I also attended. It sounds much better in there compared to San Antonio and Atlanta. From what I understand, DCI and BOA partnered with the construction team to provide "acoustical feedback" when designing the dome.
  16. Gary, your opinion matters so much to me. I truly think you are one of the greatest men I've ever known. You have to understand this though, the summer I marched Crossmen was THE GREATEST summer of my life, however Hopkins left a very sour experience for some, including myself. I just feel that he really hurt us as members that year. And to see what followed was nothing short of disaster. That being said...I DO respect all that YEA and GH did for the Crossmen. Don't get me wrong, they truly bailed them out. If it wasn't for YEA's "stimulus package", the XMEN would have been bone dust for sure. I am truly grateful for that! If that is the reason for the induction, I support it 100%. Can't a guy be have a double standard every once in a while ;)
  17. I am absolutely flabbergasted. I am speechless. Above all, I am hurt. The decision to induct George Hopkins into the Bones Hall of Fame stuns me. How can we praise a man who did nothing but put the Crossmen on the back burner for so many years? He has literally ignored the corps some years under YEA's wing, never even stepping foot in front of them. What message are we sending our alumni? Who all had negative experiences, or no experiences AT ALL with the man. This really saddens me. As an alumni, I will have to rethink my involvement. After all the e-mails I get weekly asking for money, and then turning around and donating, despite the choices they make...this whole thing just makes me sick.
  18. Competitive in the sense that they attend competitions.
