I would say the hardest show is definetly Crown 2012.

Okay you've got me there, but listen to them. They sound like the Cadets. They've done the best job out of all corps in DCI today with keeping their identity. Sure the black unis are wacky, but they still look and sound like the Cadets.

It's crazy how roweled up people get over George Hopkins being innovative, and the Cadets still have one of the most traditional sounds in DCI. Hmm...

Yup...Cadets are still my favorite.

You can definitely tell that a lot of the shows this season were written for this stadium.

Totally agree. They were the only corps (besides Cadets for the most part), where I looked forward to seeing their drill over hearing their music.

Definitely one of the best years in drum corps for sure.

To reiterate my post, I was mainly talking about the show concept. And I can't see why GE was an issue, besides the music being completely original (therefor, relate-able) . The concept of the show (especially visually) is very obvious. Most shows with high GE scores have obvious show concepts. I didn't say that they would win a gold medal, but they would definitely be a top three contender. The show is very clean (even in that mid season video).

I recently stumbled upon this rehearsal video of the Cavalier's 2003 production - Spin Cycle. Since then I've compared this show to many modern shows and have come up with the conclusion that this would be a top three program in 2015. This show is packed full of GE, not to mention the music ensemble has a very controlled sound amidst the fast paced/complicated drill. Also, the visual package of this show is OUTSTANDING to say the least. With a few added modern additions to the program (i.e. props, sound effects, etc.) this should IMO would be a top three show.
