Did anyone hear any synth at all, let alone any unnecessary synth?

I could be wrong, but I don't think that was the reason. At least early in the season, the pit was wearing the standard cavie uniform. At least in the first show I saw them in (Port Huron, MI), they were wearing it. I really have no idea what their reasoning was, but I don't believe that was it.

Look at the pit person at the bottom right of the picture.

Speaking of the pit, I also don't like the fact that many corps have adopted the idea of making their pit different from the corps. Even if it is just a different colored uniform, I would feel short-changed if I went to march for a corps and they made me put on a different uniform than what the rest of the corps is accustomed to wearing. I feel like it's beginning to be too WGI'ish.

Simply out of lack of knowledge (I'm a pit guy, I don't worry about this kind of thing), Don't the angles on the stomachs make it harder to clean visually? I remember some people were worried about the Troopers neckerchiefs messing with vis, but I'm just curious if that makes any kind of contribution to their score.

I thought the first time Crown beat Cadets was in Orlando? I remember because I was in Denver at DATR, and everybody around me was freaking out. I could be wrong though. And I apologize if this has been addressed already.

Ah, thanks. I was worried that the crown twitter had blocked me for some reason. But that's me being irrational and paranoid.

See, I thought I was following Crown on Twitter, but the "CarolinaCrown" on twitter that i'm following hasn't updated since april 29th.

I know the pit is doing really well for the percussion section. I don't remember how many aged-out in the drumline (you probably know better than me), but the pit has 9 vets returning, and at the auditions last november, they had around 30 trying to get 3 spots. As far as I know, pretty unusual for a pit to have that many come to try out. Let's not forget that the pit also has to do with how the percussion section is scored. Wow, I'm biased. Pit love though.

I meant that as no "silly" second tune like sasparilla was last year. I think it's literally called spaghetti western, by Daugherty, but that's what I was told back in like March, and they may have changed it right now. But it's not the boom/chick, polar express waiter scene, type song. I watched a run-through from the 15th, and it didn't sound like anything designed to sound silly. I don't know, I could be wrong. I'll watch it again and get back to you.
