Seems to me that if an organization is in such debt, why would they not suspend the pot-season banquet to save money?

FOR SALE: Set of three Dynasty (Lake Geneva) mellophones (M362) and six Dynasty baritones (M371). These horns are all perfectly matched and in wonderful condition. They were used by the Troopers for one season (2004), prior to their hiatus and re-emerging playing Bb horns. The horns come with cases that are in good condition. Why not? Bring it to the people!

Well, all that the show coordinator needs to do is dim the lights before a corps starts playing. It works in theaters all the time, and it would show respect for the performing corps.

I would settle for dimming the lights when a min-corps is performing. Doing so would remind the audience to quiet down.

Not to mention Des Plaines Vanguard, Colts, Norwood Park Imperials......have I forgotten any?

OK......since we now have the 11 corps competing in the DCA Mini Corps Competition, I am going to go out on a limb and do a prediction of the 11 corps.....1) Star United (Just because....) 2) Mass Brass (Will inch ever so close this year) 3) Crunchy Frog (The real deal IF they are for real!!!) Simply don't refer to it as drum corps. DCI doesn't want to touch the drum corps connotation with a 10' flag pole, hence "Summer Music Games."
