I think we want to do a little bit of both, but I think we'd enjoy more technical pieces.

Acouple of my buddies and I are planning on doing a couple of pieces for a Solo & Ensemble competition in the upcoming weeks. We're just asking for opinions on what we should play. I do planning on going somewhere if things don't work out where I don't know, but you will see me somewhere this year...i've got the bug.

And i shouldn't have even mentioned that I didn't come on here to bash any corps I came on her for some enlightenment

See I don't really understand this whole burning bridges analogy. I understand the analogy, I just don't know what its referring to.

You know Joe? He's a great guy isn't he? He really helped our brass line out this year.

Yeah I was just hoping to talk to some people who have marched and know a little more about the orgaizations to help me get a better idea of what the vibe and people are like. Things you can't really get from an audition book.

I was asking this because I enjoy what both corps do, but there are some reasons (possibly financial) why I can't go to one, and I was hoping there was someone out there passionate enough about either one of these corps to help me come to a realization that it is worth the financial burden.

I appreciate all your help and will take into consideration everything youve said, but I've been told by many of my instructors that Blue Knights is burning some bridges. Anyone know what they mean?

Does anyone have any good stories about Ed? He's my director down at Pomona High school. I've asked him about his corps days and he won't say much.

Im currently deceiding where to audition for corp this years. After much thought i've narrowed it down to the Cavaliers or Santa Clara Vanguard. Im a junior in high school and live in Colorado. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks
