Here is what I have learned from the TOC... 1. Order of appearance matters 2. The directors of these corps bit off more than they could chew, with the exception of putting a gun to the head of the DCO body and demanding more money for themselves. 3. My disgust for them (Gibbs, Coates, Glasgow, Hopkins, Fiedler, et al) is unabated.

Let's hope Pioneer us assessed whatever penalties the rules call for. Remembering back to the days when RB ran A/A-60 and was quick to enforce rules violations. As a man of principle he should ensure Pioneer is treated with similar by-the-book tactics.

Blue Devils are in an entirely different league when it comes to design. Sophisticated and engaging all at once. It's traditional drum corps and theatricality.

Sorry, but if the Crusaders show is based on the concept of Conquest and they don't play "Conquest" this could be a bigger swing & miss than last year...

Revamped staff? Hasn't M. Hamilton been with the corps for years? Was the staff the reason the corps had to beg for funds to go on the road? There are numerous shows on the East Coast, looks to me like The Raiders cant afford to leave New Jersey until they leave for tour, if they leave for tour..... and of the only 2 other corps with single digit shows - one is from California and flies to the Midwest and the other is a second year corps.

Seem financially secure? You may want to look a bit deeper. The Raiders tour less than every other competitive Open Class corps and still had major issues getting out n the road. It doesn't matter if a corps is World Class or Open Class - good management provides for a stable organization. After the fiasco of 2013 I would be very, very wary of them.

Sammy Hazo? Close personal friends, are you? Furnish new horns? This is a corps that barely tours and almost folded mid season 2 years ago.

Boston hired Adam Sage as Visual Coordinator. Not a bad move. Not sure how wise it was to keep the Visual Designer from 2014, but perhaps it was more the fault was that of the Program Coordinator than Designer.

Right! Any idea who is replacing Jamey Thompson at Phantom? Is Leon May staying at Crown even after they (unsuccessfully) tried to replace him with Pete Weber? Who is Boston bringing in to replace Program Coordinator & the drill designer?

Right. E.Hampton took over from O.Carmenetes in 2010? 2011? Has the percussion program improved ? Doesn't appear to be according to scoring. His act is wearing thin.

Yes you are missing a lot. SCVC has well constructed musical program that provides variety and texture. It is engaging to the audience and performed well. Genesis is big.
