  1. Coming from a guy that was often around DCI in the 90's in an ODCA Div III corps, I remember seeing Crossmen and looking up to them, WAY UP! I still admire what those kids accomplish each year, however I am torn as to what Crossmen's identity is these days. I remember them being heavy groove, bad ###, aussie shaking, mofo's. While they haven't been a champion caliber corps, they were always one heck of a competitor. I wish to see that kind of Crossmen back. The one that brought "Songs for the Planet Earth", countless renditions of "Birdland" and Pat Metheny anyone? I don't diminish what they do now, but I guess I just miss the Crossmen I used to see. Consider that my disclaimer for the hyper sensitive folks of DCP
  2. I guess they do. It was a slap in the face to Grenadiers all those years when Inspires came over in 2002 and came up with the International award.

  3. They consider us all as one

  4. Hi sorry but from what i understand DCA does not consider Canadain Corps as International i guess they need to cross the border as i have many times .I have many Canadain friends up in New Brunswick ,and i now need a passport to get back into the US with .I traveled up there six times in 2007 includling bringing back down to Rochester my closest friend from Saint John for DCA then back up

  5. Kevin, you will always have Empire Statesmen. In your heart and in your soul.
  6. I'm sorry but the whole "International Champion" thing was a joke and a slap in the face to a certain international corps that was in DCA for quite a few years.
  7. Being as close to the corps as I have this season, Sing, Sing, Sing was the weakest part of the show. I know a lot of hard work has turned it into a smokin' piece
  8. GO GET EM STATESMEN!!! This is it, this is the last night as The Empire Statesmen. GO SARA!!!!! Wish I could be there with all my friends
  9. They can't seem to get the scores together, so I doubt we'll see recaps. In all seriousness, probably not.
  10. I look forward to this each year, since I haven't been to DCA's since my last competing season in 2005. Thanks so much to Kevin and the gang for making this happen and making us feel part of the special night.
  11. DCA's dropped the ball with the scores...either announce them all at once or not post just some. This is not how I remember it being done.
