Oh yes indeed, but I bet you're a football fan. You probably have a favorite team yes? You probably talk about coaches & players alike like the rest of us do, policies of teams etc. I'll take a wild shot saying that you've sat on your couch and never played but watched the games and critized here and there yes? So perhaps one must think before one posts, in that you have favorite teams in some sport other than DCI that you hate/love. I love my Pats and hate the Colts and Ravens. Although I will march, note the will, whether it be for my dream corps or a local Open class, I will march. Furthermore how can one expand one's mind and ideas without input from others? From the forum I have become less hating of Synths for example. Just think a little sometimes, I should make a thread on peoples negativity towards other fans. My mom likes DCI and has her views, but she is to old to march because she found out it existed when she was 50 yrs old and when I was 16, like wise she has her views on things.

I wouldn't know since I only got into DCI in late 2007, but I really hope Cavies can pull it off I absolutely love the show design, if I had to pick someone to march for out of this year, it's either Cavies or Crown

I figured this is the best place to ask it, but I am thinking about buying a BERP for this upcoming season, and need to know, was it helpful for you in any way or was it a waste of money/equiptment? I would kinda like to know experiences with it before I spend 20 bucks and find out it's no good.

Wrong again Can't say a corps sucks, a guy who marches Blue Saints is technically better than me cause he has marched before, although I believe I am much better than that, you see where I'm comin from in that I have never marched before, therefore I can't say a corps sucks. HNC is in my top 5 favorites, and it would be an honor to wear the Maroon, white, and gold. BDs well, they don't suck, but I hate their guts. Plus their shows are mostly really random in my view.

Calm down calm down I still have a high respect for HNC and I still think they are DCI's most under rated corps, however I just think that Crown has a better overall high brass, with the right amount/combo of low brass to support it. I personally feel that Cadets just don't have that sparkle in the sound that Crown has

On another note I've noticed something, there has always seemed to be a HNC vs CC fan brawl of words here on the DCP.

Wierd thing, I'm actually hoping that BDs go undefeated to Finals night, and Cavies come outta nowhere and we have another 2008 episode. Maybe then there might be a bar room brawl on the field

Anyways, so I got the fan network subscription 3 days ago because there is no way for me to attend a live show this year Anyways, it is very much worth the money. Now aside from that, I know I don't have the latest viewings of the latest contests and what not, but here goes: I firmly am in love with Crowns opener, and find the ending rather odd, I still gotta say I think Crown has the best hornline out of DCI, that's right you HNC fans, you heard me. Bluecoats=awsomeness in the close once the D-line moves back field and splits the hornline block down the center and retains it's awsomeness till the end of the show Cavies=amazing show potential, im my view I think that they have a real championship show design, more so than any other corps out there (I kinda hope they win secretly ) BDs=what? That's about all I can say, however are any of you out there like me in that you love the Cavies and Crown to death, but you can't decide which one you like better? Keep in mind im going off of what is availible on the fan network.

I can't really keep up with DCI shows per year per corps because I didn't order the fan network and I refuse to pay for half a seasons use, anyways aside from that I am pondering this. From those of you that have kept up with the Cavies style over the past years, with the new director they are under, is there any signifigant differences this year compared to how they were?

Not that I don't like the other corps, I love em to death in fact, I just want to hear about someone else for once.

I was pondering in a dream one night about this, and awoke and actually thought about this. Whenever I talk to someone about seasons I have specific shows and corps come to mind. Whenever I discuss 2007 I always think of Triple Crown, 2008 Phantom and BDs. In 2009 I end up thinking soley of Phantom crashing and the Troopers come back. Which leads me to this question from those of you that ARE watching the competitions. Do you think that the Troopers will stay up in the Top 12? I see the scores on DCI's website, but I would like to know what's goin on with em right now, in general, everything. Cause I really hope they hang in there, so if any of you that have seen any of their show(s) this season, could you please chime in? Cause all I hear about is Crown this, Coats this, BDs this and that, etc etc etc, I wanna hear about another corps for once.

Oh yes, totally because I totally am under 18 and I am not allowed to have a view because I have never marched, you are totally correct. I aspire to march, and this upcoming summer I will be able to have time to get a job, currently I mow barely enough to get by to pay for my DCI urges. That's just like saying, "if you haven't played NFL you can't tell someone that the Lions suck" you're so totally right. I predict that later my views will change as they always have. Later on down the road when I march of course somethings will/or will not change, but currently I AM entitled to a view, I never give advice, I just give view points, and I last I checked I don't usually bash corps unless i'm in a bad mood.
