  1. I agree. I think photographers are missing out on HUGE opportunities. Instead of selling prints for $13/each, why don't they sell the low-res version for $3? Or, our photographer used to offer all images he took for each unit on a CD at the end of the season for $40, which I gladly paid, but now he doesn't do that anymore because he wants to make more money on individual prints. You're going to chase a ghost trying to get everything pulled down from the internet. Seems like we're losing focus of what's really important - THIS ACTIVITY IS FOR THE KIDS. Maybe we don't have any Jolesch or local photographers do action shots? Maybe they just do group photos.
  2. I have a problem with anyone telling me I can't take pictures of my kids, or on the flipside, mandating that I don't have any rights to photos of them.
  3. I did, however, get a note from WGI today, which I'm sure everyone else did as well about the posting. Apparently, they are going back to their old system and then if a mistake happens, it happens, which is what they've been doing for 15+ years.
  4. That was not the case at the Troy show. They posted half of Sch A and then the other half.
  5. The Troy Regional reviews are posted on WGI.org I didn't get a chance to see that many groups besides my own. However, Troy is a much better facility than where it was held before, so hopefully more out-of-state guards will come next year! My own reviews: State of Art is off the hook innovative and fun to watch. The girls really work it out on the floor with amazing movement and weapon work. It's definitely an edgier production and it's just an exhilirating ride. Interplay A is solid and pushing A class, they should do well this year. Interplay World has beautiful flags and are very clean - I'm looking forward to the surprises I'm sure they're going to add as the season progresses! Walled Lake Central Open is strong again this year and are using another piece from the movie ONCE. Their weapon work is strong, innovative and expressive. These kids do not perform like high school kids and really draw you in from the moment they take the floor. I heard great things about Lincoln-Way and Reeths-Puffer in Sch A, but didn't get a chance to see them. BUT, the Fan Network folks say the shows should be up today and tomorrow! Woohoo!
