  1. I actually like marching in the rain! Not always but sometimes, I feel like that is when Cabs shows the best team spirit. There is lots of "Get it" and "We Can Do It" etc. A few times when I was marching it rained just in time for us to go on the field! As much as it was pouring it was an enjoyable show!
  2. I only marched DCA and I enjoy every minute of it! I think many people of age to march DCI march DCA first to get some Drum Corps experience before going to DCI. THis would have been my age out year and I wish I marched DCI but I know I never would have had the money to do so. DCA has less cost and you can hold a job all summer which is always important!
  3. So first let me say that this is my first review ever since this is the first season I am not marching with the Caballeros in 4 years (I know it's not a lot). I have been to a few shows and had to work on Saturday so I didn't make it to Scranton. Sunday was a FANTASTIC day for drum corps. I have decided that I like marching in the poring rain much better than sitting in it, I marched Pre-lims in 2006 and Wildwood last year so this is a reasonable statement. A friend came with me who has been to some shows but never marched before. We being not to smart did not bring umbrellas, towels, ponchos...nothing... There were four Corps in competition on Sunday Fusion, Bush, Hurcs, and Cabs Fusion- there show was much better this weekend than for the Grand Prix (which was expected) I really enjoyed the show and I am excited to see it finals weekend. It also did not rain to terribly on Fusion Bush- I love the guard and the drum line I think that those two sections really go with the Voodoo concept, I love when the horn line and the color guard get in the circle during the drum solo (?) It really gets the point across and when I saw it at the grand prix it was very creepy. Unfortunately during their performance it was raining so hard (sideways) that the audience almost could not see them performing, GET IT color guard that was tough and you guys pushed through awesome!!!! Hurcs- First time seeing their show, it was good, entertaining and only rained a little bit. I wish I was higher because in the end they have a very cool drill move, that the drum majors stand was blocking because I was so low. I liked the concepts, and would like to see the show again! And... THE SUN SHONE FOR THE CABALLEROS!!! Obviously I love the show, I think it has a great concept, one of the better ones since 07, and I love the masks!!! I do think their color guard is fantastic this year and I liked them the best out of the night. First review ever so don't be mean, and It wasn't much of a review since it rained so hard, really just wanted to say AMAZING job to everyone competing It was tough performing in the rain (and sitting in it) even for the Hurcs and Cabs since the field I know was sopping wet and so were their flags!!!!!
