  1. 1:51 - Truth 2:28 - 3:32 - Truth Thanks for posting Corpsband. I thought it was entertaining.
  2. Those drum corps miniatures are TOTALLY COOL!!!! Thanks for posting the link.
  3. Thanks for letting us borrow your bass! :thumbs-up:/> For you: :guinesssmilie:/>
  4. I'm thinking this. Their silence acknowledges that they are complicit. If they didn't want to be linked they would be screaming about it.
  5. This isn't aimed at you, Brasso. Just an observation. Crown may not have been as "clean". They had a meaty book and didn't "lay out" half the show. Video doesn't lie. Where's the content? Where's the demand? Sanford winner? Meh...
  6. I only knew Geno from here but we chewed a lot of the same dirt back in the day. I liked that he was a positive person and it was obvious he was a good guy. My prayers are for you and your family. RIP To you Geno -
  7. Speak for yourself pal. You sure as hell aren't speaking for me and my team. For the ability of the performers of that era? You have ZERO idea what you're talking about.
  8. Thanks for the kind words. I'd love to see that too. That's the only run that we pushed the peddle all the way to the floor and let it fly. Didn't have to control that beast anymore and I've always wondered what peeps thought of it.
  9. Was it '93 or '96 Finals that it absolutely poured rain on Scouts at Finals? I can't remember. Scouts ate it up and were fantastic. Seemed like they got stronger the harder it rained.
  10. Truer words have never been spoken. It was an honor and a privilege to know George. I'd like to go on and tell a few stories but I'm getting a little choked up. Maybe next time...
  11. Completely biased: Rocky Point Holiday - '83 Garfield Cadets Scorched Earth!
  12. Some of the posts in this thread are interesting. Some peeps are complaining about Troopers doing some new stuff and getting away from their heritage. Others are complaining about Scouts sticking with their heritage and redoing some of their old stuff. Wait... What?
  13. Show review in the Denton thread stated that he fracked it again. What's up with that? Not piling on the kid but it didn't seem to be a problem early in the season. What's changed?
  14. Really? I was under the impression that it was a DCI enforced rule. What's the point of having a rule when there's no teeth in it to make it enforceable?
  15. So when these kids are seen marching another corps the following year after not paying - why not report them to DCI and make them enforce the rule? I would think that with smartphones and all the other technology available that it would be easy to provide the documentation to DCI to enforce this. Right then, on the spot. What is the penalty or is there one?
  16. I'm not sure what the penalty was for allowing a kid to march another corps when owing money. I was always under the impression that DCI would land on the corps with both feet if they caught them doing it. It was always implied that if you were one of those kids that owed money - you better pay it because if you were seen and reported to DCI by your old corps that you'd be cut the moment DCI showed up.
  17. Back in the day - DCI had a rule ,written in stone, that if you marched a top 25 corps and hadn't paid your dues in full you absolutely could not march another top 25 corps until those dues were paid. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.00. Period. Has that rule gone by the wayside over the years?
  18. I confess myself disappointed that no one has posted this yet...
  19. Copy and paste from where I found this bit of trivia: December 84, the show is changed to "Christmas in August" January 85, the show is changed to Jeremiah, "On the Waterfront," "Prelude Fugue and Riffs" March 85, "Candide" is added I wonder what music they would have chosen for the Christmas show?
