Yes, you could've done what they are doing today. The difference is, in your day(and my day for that matter) there was no such thing as youtube/internet/cell phones, social media in general.... The info available now is just staggering.. That's why it burns my ### when people talk about how much better it was BITD, as if they marched because there were no ampes or Kevlar heads or grounded pit or what have you.. It's all relative!!!!!

What do you suggest Jeff, the judges write their numbers, then they are tabulated, then they are announced....... Maybe they should have an applause-o-meter for each corps 20 min. before scores are announced and then figure that outcome as a percentage of each corps scores......

I don't know if it was complete crowd silence but i remember at the end of SCV 90, as the corps ran off the field, a girl from the group i was with says out loud, "They play the last note from the tunnel", ruining it for anyone within earshot that hadn't seen it yet........ ............
