I'm back online and both YouTube & Rhapsody sites are now up to date.

I stopped by rehearsal today. I was looking forward to seeing the 48 member hornlike. Unfortunately, I only saw ~34 on the field with a few holes. I know that some high school students are still pending. i hope they make it to 48.

Parent hype is always fun. One of my students is also marching this year and I'm hearing great things as well. Can't wait to see them on the field this year.

I don't know if it has been said or not. If it has, I apologize for the repeat. Blue Stars 2014 blue prints on the field Blue Stars 2018 Carpenters. I think the Blue Stars are trying to build on something..................... Let the Dad jokes continue...........................

As I recall, you did wear a Hawaiian shirt to one the Blue Devils rehearsals at my school. Oops, there it is!!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is that I look forward to what Bobby Jones comes up with now that he isn't being forced into GH ideas. Bobby and Hammonds came up with a great show that I had the opportunity to participate in the 2010 Reading Buccaneers.

I love the musical selections. Piano Concerto #3 is by far my favorite Piano Concerto of all time. A question, Does anyone know which movement of Picture Studies? If I recall correctly, there are 7 movements.

Piano Concerto No. 3 - Sergei Prokofiev is by far my favorite Piano Concerto. I first heard it in the movie "The Competition" and have loved it ever since.

A question on impact to the band side. How does this impact an arranger that buys an arrangement and then needs to adapt that arrangement due to band voicing? This can be a gray area for some and I was wondering if other directors have had negative issues in this situation.
