  1. This may be considered a play on the "Loudest" stream. However, I am taking a slightly different tact. It's not just about how loud, but the amazing brass sound when the blend is just right and you are completely engulfed with the luscious sound of brass. It is always a dream of mine to sit in the circle during warm-ups. I have hosted many corps at the school over the years and have never had an opportunity to sit in the circle. Thinking about the history of Drum Corps, I always wondered what circle/arch would I have wanted to sit in. Here are a few that I would love to go back in time and sit down and just listen. 1975 - Muchachos 1980 - Spirit of Atlanta 1984 - Blue Devils 1992 - Madison 1991 - Star of Indiana 1996 - Phantom Regiment 2011 - Cadets 2012 - Bluecoats 2013 - Carolina Crown Add to the list as you see fit.
  2. Has the "Cone" made a new appearance? The season hasn't even begun and the "cone" is already here?

  6. This is starting to look like a very interesting year. A couple of nice shows have been announced with more to follow soon. Music has been added to the playlists.
  7. I'm not trying to step on your thunder.  I was just offering another option since some people don't subscribe to spotify. Spotify is blocked at my office. However, I am able to use Youtube.  This is just another option for people to listen to the source music.

As I stated on the thread, I am only listing the officially announced titles which you are clearly showing on the beginning of your blog.  No rumors are on my playlist.

I would appreciate the attack being reconsidered before you jump to conclusions of rumors without checking the facts.

  8. Only "officially" announced titles are on the page. I offer no rumor or assumptions on any playlist. That is the job of each individual corps to announce their show. In other words, I have no idea what the Bluecoats, Blue Devils, Carolina Crown, SCV, Cadets and so on are playing and have not listed their titles. That includes the Cavaliers since we don't know the tiles.
  9. To be extremely clear, I have put nothing on my playlist that hasn't been officially announced. Feel free to take a look if you doubt me. You can check both the DCI and DCA announcement pages and you will find I only list those titles. I hate the rumor mill and will not be a part of it.
  10. Those in the know, know not to say. Please let the corps announce their shows in their own time. Yes, I am aware of some shows and I will wait before I update my playlists.

  12. Please let me know if you have any trouble accessing my page on Youtube.  Many have already seen it with no issues.

  13. The Source Music page on Youtube is just examples of performances by the original artist or a performance by an orchestra/band. No other references are made or suggested. I have made the channel is public. Look up "Drum Corps 2017" and you will find it. 74 people have already viewed it. I make no claims that these are the exact source performances or that they are the best performance. I hope you enjoy the music.
  14. The "Site that shall not be named" now has a Drum Corps 2017 playlist that includes the source music for both DCI and DCA as it stands this morning. I make no claims to being exactly correct on the "source" or that this is the best performance of each piece. Just another way to wet our appetites as we get closer to summer. This is a public list and available for your listening pleasure.

  16. OK, I'll add one..... I loved the vocal in "Run Boy Run" from the Cavaliers in 2014
  17. Thank you for the updated Pin work. Southern Nights source music has been added to the Rhapsody/Napster Playlist under "Drum Corps 2017"
  18. Moderators, We are now in 2017 and I believe it is time to update our PINs. Can we unpin 2015 & 2016 and then PIN 2017 Shows?
  19. I will add them to the Rhapsody/Napster Playlist now. Thanks for the Heads-Up.
  20. I see someone's signature line with the Southwind 2017shown above/below. I have also seen a blurb on the DCA side with Cadets 2 doing their show based on "Appalachian Spring" with "Appalachian Morning" by Paul Winter added into the show. If these are correct, I have updated my Rhapsody/Napster playlist for all who would like to hear the source music. You can find it under Drum Corps 2017 and it includes both DCI and DCA source music that has been identified as of today. And no, I didn't fall for the SCV April First announcement. However, I have to give them credit on a well developed prank.
  21. I saw a post in the thread "Who's Doing What Shows" stating Cadets 2 will be building their show on based on "Appalachian Spring" with "Appalachian Morning" by Paul Winter added into the show. If this is correct, I have updated my Rhapsody/Napster playlist for all who would like to hear the source music. You can find it under Drum Corps 2017 and it includes both DCA and DCI source music that has been identified as of today.
  22. Genesis titles added to the Rhapsody Playlist. You can find it by searching for Drum Corps 2017. BTW, I have the past couple years on Rhapsody as well if you would like to visit those playlists. I have made all three of them public.
