This probably isn't the thread to talk about it in, but with all this talk of show difficulty, did anyone watch the cadets live stream? Now THATS a hard show...hope they can clean it.

A bit scary at times, but that endzone to endzone chord at the end of the ballad was incredible. The way they are playing with the split uniforms is so incredibly impressive. I'm sure that in the dark, with stadium lights there will be no worry about seeing the demons, however in this broadcast the demons were a little bit hard to see in contrast with the white angels.

I personally think that crown has the fittest members. The sheer amount of core strength it takes to do the movement they do is a true testament to the physical fitness of the members. Also, I saw The Cadets in Allentown in '09 and that was the skinniest corps I've ever seen.

I heard their arms are getting super strong from all the fist pumping, and they've had a few injuries due to intense moshing, not to mention how difficult it is to crowd surf. Give credit where credit is due, expert!!

Call me a troll, but epic is such an overused word.

If I could get a really great table cloth with a screen printed image of a carolina crown rock star, I would be totally stoked!

While I completely agree that is has been incredibly annoyingly aggressive it is clear they are the only drum corps affiliated organization with a shot at the big money. I am just as tried of getting emails and facebook messages as the rest of you, but it would be wrong to not support the only drum corp organization that still has a chance. Vote for all 5.

Now, this is all rumor, but I've heard a rumor that someone over at DCI encouraged his students to vote for petfinder.com (YEA!'s current competitor) because he got a his pet from there. Do you think he actually supports their mission and got a pet from there, or do you think he is do bitter about being so far behind YEA! that he working against them, helping petfinder.com pass them. Discuss...

Last time I checked piano isn't in the word phrase Drum and Bugle corps...although Bb instruments aren't bugles...but I think there's a thread for that.

Seriously how can anybody be excited about a drum corps show featuring a keyboard player (we all heard Cadets '09, right?) and We Will Rock You. I mean, seriously, We Will Rock You has a grand total of around 6 different notes in the entire song. After saying that I can't help but think though, do they ever play more than 6 different notes. OPEN Bb PERFECT FIFTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sums up about every crown ending impact point ever or at least in the past couple of years. Anyway, looking forward to hearing the sound this always powerful hornline produces. I can make fun all I want but there is no denying they have an incredible sound.
